Blacksmithing in high quality close up shots so you can see exactly what we are forging and how to forge yourself.
A mix of styles from narrated blacksmithing video content, captioned video content, and also full blacksmithing montages with music for those times you dont want to learn blacksmithing techniques, but just want to watch blacksmithing and forging videos.

So I've only just found this channel today, and honestly, there is some gold to be found amongst the videos @coal iron works have been putting out, especially the hammer in videos. With long demos from really great smiths and artists. Long form demos. Thought I'd give you guys a heads up and point you in their direction as I've never seen them before or had any recommendations.

So it's been 8 months since I last updated. Sorry for that. I have been mad busy making this tortoise and have thought about you guys every day and the channel and my work in general. I want to share with you a picture of the tortoise and you may realise why I have been gone so long. I will do a full video on my thoughts of this creation at the end of may and another explaining what is going to be happening with me and this channel. I have not forged since last may so eager to get back in the forge. Thanks for your patience.

The tortoise shell is coming along, very slowly. I will be doing an update on it soon but I need to finish the top of the shell first. Here is a sneak preview of what I've got so far. By far thee hardest challenge I've ever had but loving it!
