First day of October, the sun dips low, Last rays embrace, a golden glow. Warmth fills the soul, dispelling the haze, A peaceful redemption for passing days.
Cool autumn breeze whispers softly through, A spirit renewed, honest and true. God's gentle presence ministers within, Hearts overflow with thanks, where new joys begin.
We lift our gaze to the grand, canvas-like sky, a testament to God's boundless creation. The vibrant hues of orange and purple serve as a reminder of the magnificent artistry that surrounds us, from the smallest blade of grass to the stars in the cosmos. The world, so often viewed through the narrow lens of our daily tasks, anxious thoughts and fears reveals itself in its breathtaking beauty. As the last light vanishes, giving way to the quiet mystery of twilight, we embrace the joy of it all. The struggle and the peace, the endings and the beginnings and rest in the beautiful certainty of faith, hope, and the love that connects us all. I pray God's richest Blessings for you all. ππΌππΌππΌππ΄π #LessonsFromTheSunset #EveningReflection #GratitudeAndLessons #GoldenHourThoughts

There's something uniquely comforting about a banana sandwich on a sweltering Southern evening. While the combination of mayonnaise and sliced banana between two slices of white bread might seem unusual to some, it's a beloved staple in many Southern households. The cool, creamy Duke's mayonnaise provides a tangy counterpoint to the sweetness of the ripe bananas, creating a refreshing and surprisingly satisfying bite. This simple, inexpensive treat emerged during the Great Depression as a way to combine readily available ingredients for a nutritious meal, and it continues to evoke a sense of nostalgia and Southern charm, especially on those evenings when a heavy meal just won't do. #dukesmayonaise#southerncooking
