๐ŸŒ Leveling Up the World โ€“ One Jacket at a Time! ๐ŸŽฎ

After a month of deep-dive learning, it's finally time to share the progress!
This is my character, rocking a jacket I found on Sketchup by csheffield (big thanks for making it free!). I edited it in Blender just to put it in a T-pose and attach it to the Metahuman โ€” small tweak, big impact. ๐Ÿงฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ

And the roads? Theyโ€™re based on textures from City Sample, but the meshes? All created from scratch, using the project assets as reference. This part was a grind, but it taught me so much about texturing in Blender โ€” a whole new level of freedom to shape the world Iโ€™m building. ๐Ÿšง๐Ÿ’ก

Now, not only does my Metahuman have a jacket with personality, but itโ€™s also surrounded by a world that feels more real and interactive than ever before.

Hey devs, you know that wild feeling when you're neck-deep in code, hunting bugs, adding new features, and crafting a whole universe from scratch? That โ€œzoneโ€ where time disappears and youโ€™re just building something real?



Wellโ€ฆ today Iโ€™m not showing flashy gameplay. Todayโ€™s post is a tribute to the quiet side โ€” the side you donโ€™t always see in the videos.





Long nights. Long docs. Long tutorials. And yep โ€” lots of frustration and head scratching ๐Ÿ˜…





But is it worth it? Damn right it is. I love this madness with all my heart!

When I was a kid, I used to get lost in my imagination, dreaming of games I couldn't play (GPU-less life ๐Ÿ˜‚).





Now here I am, making stuff I used to daydream about. Still kinda surreal.

Lately, I've been pushing hard on that stealth system โ€” but now it's getting intense:

๐Ÿšช They open doors dynamically (no mercy lol)

๐ŸŽต Music reacts to tension and chase in real-time



๐Ÿ’จ You feel the danger โ€” that cold sweat when youโ€™re about to get caught!



To celebrate the grind, I made this fun little pic: me vs the bugs + the NPC + player characters stalking the code like itโ€™s a stealth mission of its own ๐Ÿ˜†

๐Ÿ”ฅ Meet this Characterโ€”Inspired by the Love of My Life! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’œ

This oneโ€™s special. I brought my amazing girlfriend into the gameโ€”literally.

Using an iPhone 15 and MetaHuman, I captured her face with insane detail, then implemented facial animations and complex AI-driven interactions. The result? A character that feels real.

Of course, I couldnโ€™t leave out her personality. Black metal? Check. Dark Throne logo on the shirt? Check. Love for purple? Double check.

Oh, and the hammer in her hands? Wellโ€ฆ breaking bones with fists was already fun, but now weโ€™re cracking skulls with hammers too. ๐Ÿ’€โš’๏ธ
