Things are looking a little bit different around here today: I have been wanting to update my logos and designs for a long time and finally my artist ⁨@RedBeardMortis⁩ and I pulled the trigger on it.

Moving away from the old mascot logo represents the changes I've gone through over the past 13 years on this platform and in life.

Truth is: I kind of grew up in front of you. I went through my twenties sad, trying to figure out who I am, chase this dream and you guys watched me figure myself and this channel out.

I'm here 13 years later: 1,800 videos, 100s of Millions of Views, engaged to the love of my life (who I met when I was in high school) starting development on a second game, building up a Premiere FPS Podcast and looking at opportunities to get involved in my local Game Dev spaces and make real impact.

I want to align my "brand" (God I hate that phrase) with where I am and want to be in the future. Laser focused on FPS, Gameplay and bringing you guys cool videos about a plethora of different shooters.

Through all the bullshit, the drama, the ups and downs, The Fry Nation is still here kicking through doors.

Here's to 13 more years chasing my dreams, creating cool shit and talking with you all about games. Crazy shit... 🍻

After the Discord hack back in April, we've finally taken the opportunity to do a full cleanup of the server.

Over time, the community had accumulated a large number of inactive accounts, bots, and members who simply weren't around anymore. Rather than carrying that baggage forward, we've cleaned house and are starting fresh.

Going forward, the focus is on creating a community where people are actually talking about games, hanging out during streams, sharing opinions, and helping shape the future of the content and projects we're working on.

If you were removed due to inactivity, don't take it personally. You're more than welcome to jump back in and be part of what we're building.

I don't want 10,000 silent members. The goal is a community that actually shows up.

In 2022, I jumped into the Game Dev space with a group of my closest friends online. We built out a small team to bring our first game to life. We made mistakes, but we learned a lot.

We're working on our next project. It's going to be a long time until we announce it, but I'm already so excited to talk more about it with you all when the time comes.

Shout out to each and every one of you in the Fry Nation - I don't say this enough, but you all have genuinely changed my life and have allowed me to entertain you for this many years. I really want this studio and these games to be my labour of love to you, creating the games that we want to see in the space and leaving our mark on this industry.

Transience was step one in a long journey to make our dream games. And what a fantastic first step that was. Proud of where we came from and fucking pumped to see where we're heading!
