The ReImagination Café Podcast

Working on our latest episode featuring the remarkable voices behind care farming and the Care Farming Network stirred a quiet wave of nostalgia in me. It took me back to simpler times—day camp, playing in the mud, skinny-dipping in the lake, scavenger hunts. I spent my early years being active outdoors, with unstructured time to slow down, explore, and take in the world.

Fast forward fifty years - life seems to be moving at lightning speed. I'm inside most of the time, sitting at my desk. Unstructured time is rare. Too many conversations happen through a screen.

Maybe it's time to slow down, step outside, and engage more fully with the world - trade some Zoom calls for walks in the woods.

And maybe the next time I find myself standing in the mud, I'll take my shoes off.

Care to join me?

The ReImagination Café Podcast

A Small Story About Creativity, Gratitude and Sparkle ✨

When I interviewed Gary Hirsch, artist, improviser, and co-founder of On Your Feet, he gave me an idea I couldn't shake.

During our conversation on The ReImagination Café™ Podcast, Gary shared the origins of his Bots — those whimsical little domino characters that grew out of childhood fear, imagination, and the healing power of art.

When I visited The Prospector Theater, the team welcomed me with such openness and generosity. They offered their time, their stories, their honesty.

So I called Gary.

I told him about The Prospector: the mission, the people, the brilliance and heart inside that building and I asked if he would create a limited-edition Sparkle Bot just for them.

He said yes.

Sharing those 300 Sparkle Bots with the team was one of the most meaningful moments I’ve had since launching The ReImagination Café™.

Because this is what reimagining work looks like: not grand gestures, but small acts of humanity.

Stories honored.
Humanity acknowledged.
Sparkle passed from one person to another.

The ReImagination Café Podcast

Welcome to The ReImagination Café™! ☕️🎙️

If you’re new here, this channel is about having inspirational conversations with people who are reimagining work.

In every episode, our host Jessica Cherry sits down with changemakers, creatives, and everyday visionaries who are using their work to transform how we lead, create, connect, and care for one another.

Through honest, in-depth conversations, we uncover how our guests are making the world better through their work — whether that’s by:

- Leading with empathy and purpose
- Cultivating nourishing workplace cultures that support mental health and well-being
- Infusing creativity and heart into all aspects of work
- Building inclusive communities where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued for who they are

Our goal is simple: to spark thought-provoking conversations that go beyond the surface, and help us imagine what’s possible when we do.
