Pianist David Jalbert is a renowned Canadian concert pianist, winner of several Prix Opus, five-time nominee at the Juno Awards, winner of the Canada Council for the Arts' Virginia Parker Prize and Sylva Gelber Award, and an exclusive ATMA Classique recording artist. A Juilliard graduate, he won 1st Prize at the 1997 OSM Competition and was also a prizewinner at the 2000 Dublin International Competition. Mr. Jalbert is a Professor of Piano and Head of the Piano Sector at the School of Music of the University of Ottawa, and is on faculty at the Orford Music Academy.
