Exit 45 Restorations
Hi I'm Matt and I started this channel to document the restorations I work on and share them with all of you. I know I've benefited from others sharing their projects so I felt like I should share as well. I take old cars that have been forgotten and rusting away and completely tear them down, restore all the parts and reassemble them. I'm new to this and have completed two cars so far. The name, Exit 45 Restorations, came about because I want people to exit the freeway and explore America's back roads. You'll discover some of the best people and food out there as well amazing views of small-town America.

Well I did it. I jumped off the deep end and pulled the SAAB in the shop to see if I can get it running and driving. I'm currently still working on this as we speak and so this video will be released Friday at 4pm Eastern time. Come check it out and see if I can get it on the road again.

Wait a minute!!! I just finished painting and you're saying I need to sand it all down. I thought I was done with sanding. I know you're done with watching me sand... lol. It sounds wrong but it needs to be sanded one last time to bring out that mirror like finish. My next video will walk you through the process and show you what it looks like before and after. Well, we made it to paint day. My next video will be out on Thursday at 4pm Eastern time and you'll, at last, be able to see the Thunderbird fully dressed. This moment has been a long time coming. I started the disassembly of this 64 Thunderbird in March of this year and 7 months later, we finally get to see what she is going to look like.
