Hey everyone.

So lately, things have been moving incredibly slow for the channel. The truth is, I think the next big step for me is to try to get a PC gaming rig built soon. Since December 2018, I've been using the same Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop to edit content, mainly because it had slightly better specs than the 2012 desktop I was originally using to make video with up until that point (to give an example, every episode of Cooper's Perspective and the first 3 Coop's Reviews were made on that 2012 PC). While the gaming laptop helped me greatly over the years, it's obviously starting to show its age after 7 years, gaming laptops are also notoriously awful to depend on for long-term periods of gaming or work, so going back to a desktop PC would be the most ideal. I did buy better RAM for the laptop, which did help it last for a few more years, but it's starting to no be enough.

Because of the limitations of the laptop, I've only ever been able to record decent gameplay footage at 720p 60fps via OBS because the normal Elgato app kept lagging when I'd try recording on it, which messed up a lot of gameplay footage for me (you probably noticed this in some reviews throughout 2019, I switched to recording via OBS starting with the "Crash Twinsanity" review). So yeah, I guess my main plan now is to try saving up to get a gaming PC built soon, this won't stop be entirely from making content, but I definitely want to make strides to getting a better PC and be able to record footage better w/o it being limited to being 720p (I'm sure no normal person watching my channel actually noticed this or cared, but I think you guys deserve slightly better looking footage tbh, lol).

I'm not sure when the PC rig building will start or where to begin, I do want to try to get that "Donkey Kong Bananza" review out before the year ends, even if I have to keep using the OBS in 720p60 recording method. It will kinda be a shame since it'll be my first Switch 2 review, but oh well. I have a few friends who have built PC rigs in the past, so I won't be alone in getting a PC built, but definitely leave any comments for suggestions if any of you have experience in this field!

I will try to keep you guys up to date on my social media accounts on when PC parts will be bought, so I'll see you all when I'm able to provide another update! (this gaming laptop is honestly on its last legs, omfg)

Next review might be for Sonic Racing CrossWorlds since it's dropping soon and will likely be a short one for me to get out. I know I posted a schedule a few months ago, but I don't think I should do that anymore, it can be pretty restrictive and usually causes these awful lulls on the channel if I try forcing myself to lock-in on a video that's not padding out very well. I'm not sure what'll happen with the Super Mario Galaxy review, it's on hold for now, just haven't felt interested or motivated to edit it. I honestly might re-do the whole thing, but for now, it's not coming out anytime soon. I'm very sorry for no content for 4 months now. So hopefully expect the CrossWorlds review later this month and I might try to get a live band retrospective out in October (most likely MCR). Sorry again for the lack of content, I'll see you guys later.

It's hard to keep finding the motivation to keep making content on this channel when it hasn't taken off for the past 8-9 years. Just being real.

Do you guys fall asleep watching my videos?

Hey guys, sorry again for a lack of content lately. I've been having a lot of self-confidence issues and creative blocks with the channel. I've tried moving on to multiple projects over the past few months to see which review/retrospective would pad out better, but it's all still moving at a snail's pace. This year has been pretty stressful and busy for me personally too. I'd livestream more but the internet at my current place is still pretty horrendous, so I'm unable to do more streams for the time being. I've also been making more money from my IRL job than I have on the channel for a while, so I've been focusing more on that in the meantime. I apologize for not uploading, I guess these kinds of lengthy burnouts are just bound to happen every now and then. I'm not sure when the next review or live band retrospective will be out, just don't expect anything huge very soon. Hope you all can understand.

What do you guys enjoy about my content?

Sorry again for the lack of updates. I've been feeling extremely burnt out over making content and some IRL stuff going on. I hate when the channel goes into these lull periods of nothing happening. Also, sadly, the Pokémon livestreams might be paused for a while because my internet situation has been awful lately (stuck at my parents' place who only have COX, terrible service, I don't recommend it lol). I apologize again for going quiet, I'll try to get the Mario Galaxy review out later this month once I'm able to, the previous schedule I posted is not changing (aside from Sonic Racing CrossWorlds since it now has a release date). Hope you all look forward to my next review/retrospective in the future. Take care.

Just so there's no confusion, the Mario Galaxy review is next, I'm aiming to get it out in early June. I figured I'll do at least 2-3 reviews and then release a new "live band retrospective" in between them. So here's the projected schedule for now:

Super Mario Galaxy
Sonic Rush
Green Day Live! (1997-1999)
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Sonic Rush Adventure
Super Mario 3D Land
SOAD Live! (2018-2024)
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds (may be moved after an official release date is revealed)
Sonic Rivals 1 & 2
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury
MCR Live! (2006-2009)
Sonic Riders Trilogy
Super Mario Odyssey

That's all for now, I'll see you all in the next review/retrospective!
