I did my first ever online ILHA competition this last week!! I got my scores back the other day, Asher did wonderful I’m very proud of him we entered into training level at the shoulder and training level liberty, our score was actually pretty good! The best you can get is a 5 and the worst is a (I think) a 1 I’m not sure but average is 3 so anything over that was really good!!😁

Being able to sit on Asher bareback and bridless after a liberty session is just such a special feeling Asher has always been a nervous, sensitive and spooky horse so for him to trust me this much is so incredible🥹 even though our riding improvement hasn’t been big to most people or to myself sometimes it is for Asher, I truly would have never expected to be able to do this last year, I can’t wait for what this year bring for us❤️

Hey everyone, I have big news!!!!



I finally found and bought a saddle for Asher!!! It feels so amazing and it’s also a huge relief! it’s a very special saddle to me because it is the first saddle I have ever bought all on my own! I had saved up for four months to be able to get a saddle for Asher, I definitely wouldn’t have been able to pay for this saddle if I hadn’t started a job though! So thank you so much to the owner of the horses I’m taking care of and working with! The saddle fits him quite well and he looks so good in it.😍


Also don’t mind the chubby Asher he has his winter fluff right now.🤣

I can’t believe it’s already February 1st! Although I can’t say I’m not happy that January is over (because where I live it’s the coldest month most of the time😅)

But because of the wet and/or cold I haven’t been able to work with the mustang very much but hopefully it will start warming up soon!😁 at the moment I am saving up/ looking for a saddle that comfortably fits Asher to hopefully continue his training undersaddle when it warms up, I definitely feel like he is ready to start riding, now it’s just having patience to find a saddle and have warmer safer days to ride in🥲 but as of now he can walk bareback ( I haven’t tried trotting bareback because he is a really difficult horse to ride bareback when he moves he practically throws you over😂 he has such big shoulder movement and because I haven’t rode very much since July/August I don’t feel like pushing it) I started teach him how to sidepass and pivot both directions undersaddle and he is picking it up wonderfully!!! As of right now I am just in a season of waiting (most of the time impatiently but I’m working on that😅) God has a plan for my life and even though sometimes it’s hard it will be well worth the wait☺️ I pray you all had a wonderful January and an even more amazing February!!
