I’m a space lover and backyard astrophotographer.
I spend countless hours capturing mesmerising celestial moments, from erupting solar flares to the stunning wonders of our Milky Way galaxy and beyond. All of it is captured right from my backyard in the northern Netherlands where light pollution is low and the night sky still shines bright.
I share real, awe-inspiring footage of our Sun, the galaxy, and the universe. No CGI or AI, just the raw beauty of space.
Always enjoy the Sun safely — use proper solar filters!

Found this Star Trail shot that I made a while back and wanted to share it here, hope you like it!
It's shot from my backyard Allsky camera that takes continues images throughout the night. Every image is stacked and the lightest values are added over each other creating this amazing Star Trail view! In the middle of the image you can see Polaris, our Northern pole star. It's interesting to see the pole star is not perfectly in the center, and by adding all images of the night over each other, the rotation of our planet becomes visible in a single image.
