I am excited for this purple gem rhododendron to bloom. I’ll probably pot it before then. After blooming I’ll reduce all the long straight branches

Did a little cleanup around the potting station. Used plastic crates as junk drawers. :) I think this year I’ll use the top tray instead of the flat board/surface. Maybe that will keep my work area neater when I’m repotting. I tend to knock the soil onto the ground while I’m working…

Was -3F this morning, but the tropicals in the window look ok so far this winter. Room temp is 70F in the sun and humidity is 30%

Moved the og greenhouse back behind the new greenhouse. Now more room for plants!!

For years I’ve used this area at the back of the yard, now behind the greenhouse, as a dumping ground for branches, leaves, dirt (lots of dirt), dead bonsai, yard debris, piles and piles of yuc… Didn’t think I’d ever get around to cleaning it up. Of course I just relocated everything to another part of the yard, further out of sight ;) Perhaps next year the greenhouse expands into this space
