This past weekend was a huge success for my charter business.
For the past 10 years we have been hosting an event for Louisiana Dental Center; we have 21 boats running and we hold a weigh in for the 84 anglers! Of course it's a huge party and so much fun!!

Now, we back in the saddle and this week we've got some rainy weather hitting along the entire gulf coast so get your fishing in before Friday!! This time of year rocks: the fishing is great, the weather is great, and you can buy big shrimp for the freezer at $3.00/lb. Whoop whoop...

Wow what a weekend of great fishing here on the Northern Gulf Coast, the bull redfish are eating up!! I have to say that it is amazing how a popping cork really attracts fish to the baits. I had one guy using a popping cork and one using a MirrOlure She Dog and they both caught really good but man that Versamaxx Cork got like 3 to one. I think it's because they think it is other fish feeding and they want some too.....what are your thoughts????

Well we're getting closer to fall and you know as an angler things are about to ramp up! I can't wait for shorter runs, cooler temperatures and most of all using artificials.

Once the sun starts rising later and later each day the fish are going to begin their migration into the interior marshes of the Gulf and East coasts. It's crazy that just a few weeks back the water temperatures were in the low nineties and now the temperatures have dropped to the mid eighties!

I mean heck my pool water is about to get cooler than 85 degrees and that means I'm not swimming anymore!

Get ready for the fall run it's coming faster than you think...

Hey yall!! Man is it hot out on the water but the fishing is still rolling even though those west winds are pumping! This shows how consistent weather patterns make fish happy and our hook sets more often!!! How’s the west winds for you?
