Another day, another install.

This homeowner recently purchased a new construction home. In California, new homes are required to include solar — but many builders install only the minimum system required, often around eight panels.

After moving in, the homeowners realized the original system wasn’t enough to fully offset their energy usage. We stepped in and designed an expansion, adding 13 additional panels to properly meet their needs.

Now they’re on track to eliminate 100% of their dependence on the utility grid.

If you purchased a new build, don’t assume the builder-sized system is optimized for your lifestyle.
