Hello Wonderful Community!

The last month has been a whirlwind for me behind the scenes! Many of you know that my wife and I were going to move to New York but after a harrowing experience at the border and seeing current events we have instead decided to move back home to Vancouver. We are neck deep in packing all of our stuff and dealing with the stresses and logistics of moving all of our belongings (and 2 cats!) 5000km west.

Just wanting to spread the word that I've teamed up with my friends over at Lessonface and will be presenting a group class all about scales and arpeggios on the guitar! There will be four hour long sessions through the month of May (Wednesdays from 3-4pm EST) and we will be covering all of the fundamentals of single note playing on the guitar. This group class offers a chance to get some lesson time in with me for less than half of what I charge for one on one instruction and will be a great way to either learn some new skills or brush the dust off of your skills while learning practice techniques and tips that I've learned over my career.

If you can't attend a session or two they will be recorded for you to go back and watch at your leisure!

Today I woke up to the news that I had surpassed 10,000 subscribers and while there are many channels bigger and more successful than mine, I'm a firm believer in celebrating any and all wins. 2025 is set to be the most ridiculously busy year of my life. My Fianceé and I are getting married on the other side of the country this summer, completing a huuuuuge international move and also currently drowning in paperwork in the process of selling our condo.

As such, I'm needing to stay REALLY on top of filming and content creation so that I don't fall behind and I thought now that we're another couple thousand subscribers strong since the last time I posted one of these I would ask if there's any video topics you would like to see covered on the channel? Any and all ideas are welcome as I try to build a big enough backlog to survive the coming insanity that is my life this year.
