We shot an entire feature film. On an iPhone 17. In two weeks. With just three people.
No crew, no studio, no safety net — just a story we couldn’t stop thinking about. It’s called Blue Harvest. A sci-fi film set in a world where everyone on Earth loses the ability to speak after an alien invasion.
I am writing with a mix of excitement and nerves. Today we launched the Kickstarter for my new feature, SPILL. We made this film the hard way. Early calls, late wraps, quiet takes, and a crew that never quit. There was a day I tripped with the gimbal, hit the floor, checked the lens, and kept going. That pretty much sums up the spirit of this project. It was built by people who care.

I’m sitting here staring at a half-smashed wine bottle I kept from set, still smells like corn-syrup blood and cheap Merlot and I’m honestly overwhelmed.
A week ago, me, Sofia, William, and a crew the size of a car-pool, sweating through 118-degree desert heat because the story said “sun-blasted ranch” and fake heat lamps just don’t look the same.
And today? Today the film is shot. Everything, every door knock, every blood stain, every “let’s do one more take” lives on four hard drives humming under my desk.
But the film isn’t alive yet. Right now it’s raw footage waiting for colour to bake in that desert heat, waiting for a 5.1 mix so every creak in that living room makes your stomach drop, waiting for a score that tells your pulse when to speed up and when to hold its breath.
I can’t do that part alone.
So I built a Kickstarter pre-launch page. It’s basically a giant “Notify Me” button and a promise: If you show up on launch day, I’ll hand you early access to the finished cut, hours of behind-the-scenes chaos, and your name in the end credits right next to mine.
No studio, no middleman, just the people who actually want to see this thing finished.
