✧ EPISODE 1 — The Diary Disaster

Emily Turner stood outside the decorated hall, trying to gather the nerve to enter her 15th birthday party. Balloons, music, laughter — everything was supposed to be perfect.
Then she saw them.
Zach.
Aiden.
Leo.
Damien.
All waiting for her, silent and awkward in the dim hallway.
Zach flashed a quick smile before pretending he wasn’t staring at her dress.
Aiden shifted closer like he was guarding her from someone.
Leo held a tiny wrapped box, palms sweating.
Damien leaned near the wall, eyes never leaving her — unreadable, steady.
Before anyone could speak, Jason burst through the doors.
Her older brother.
Her personal headache.
“There you are!” he said loudly. “Everyone’s waiting.”
Emily shot him a tired look and walked in. The boys followed, tension trailing behind them like a storm cloud.

Earlier That Week…

Emily and Maya were at Maya’s house doing homework. Emily dug through her backpack and pulled out a red notebook — her diary disguised as a school journal.
Maya raised a brow.
“You still write in that?”
“It’s therapy without the bills,” Emily joked.
She shoved it back in her bag quickly — the last thing she needed was anyone reading about… him.

Two Days Ago…

Jason needed a notebook. Emily wasn’t home.
He grabbed one from her room — not realizing
he grabbed the red one.
He tossed it to his friend Liam.
“Here, dude. Use it. I don’t need it back.”
Liam shrugged.
The next day, Liam forgot it in the journalism club room.
Someone opened it.
Recognized the handwriting.
Saw names.
Heart doodles.
Secrets.
And they copied every juicy page.
too late to count.

The Morning of the Party

Emily walked into school and felt the entire hallway staring.
Whispers.
Giggles.
People passing around papers.
Maya ran to her, panic all over her face.
“Emily… don’t look—”
But Emily already saw it.
The school newspaper.
Front page.
“EMILY TURNER’S TOP 10 CRUSH MOMENTS!”
Direct quotes from her diary.
Including the part about Zach’s smile,
Aiden’s hoodie she stole once,
Leo’s kindness,
and the confusing paragraph about Damien that even she didn’t fully understand.
Emily’s world cracked.
Jason rushed up behind her, holding one of the pages, face pale.
“Em, I swear — I didn’t know that was your—”
Emily didn’t let him finish.
“You RUINED me,” she whispered, voice trembling.
Jason reached for her — she stepped back.
Everyone was watching.
Zach picked up one of the papers — his expression changed.
Aiden crushed his copy in his fist.
Leo looked heartbroken for her.
Damien smiled slightly… like chaos was interesting.
Emily choked on her breath.
Maya wrapped an arm around her.
“Let’s just get through your party,” she said softly — but even she sounded unsure.

Back to the Birthday Party — Present

Music played.
Lights flashed.
But people weren’t celebrating.
They were staring.
Judging.
Laughing at her heart spelled out in print.
Jason kept trying to catch her eyes — guilt swallowing him alive.
Emily stood there, surrounded by four boys who now knew everything she felt.
Every crush.
Every wish.
Every secret she swore she’d never say out loud.
Zach stepped forward, voice quiet:

“Emily… we need to talk.”

Aiden was right behind him:

“No. I need to talk to her.”

Leo grabbed her hand softly:

“Are you okay? You don’t have to say anything.”

Damien just whispered near her ear:

“Truth always makes things interesting.”

Emily closed her eyes, dizzy.
She wanted to disappear.
Instead… she stood up straighter.

“Happy birthday to me,” she muttered.

And walked into the crowd — heart burning, reputation shattered —
with four boys and a furious brother behind her,
ready for the fallout.
