**Bass Rewind Patch Notes v2026.09**

I also owe you an apology because I meant to mention it earlier, but with everything going on lately it completely slipped my mind. Better late than never. <3

Now, onto the main stuff.

* The distributor migration is going well. Within about a week, around **90% of the Bass Rewind catalog should be fully back online**.

There are still a few issues with some tracks, and I also have a monthly upload limit on the distributor, so the plan is to have **100% of the catalog back online — including the new songs — by the first week of next month**.

* Once the catalog is fully uploaded, I’ll also need to go back through video comments, Art Tracks, descriptions, channel info, and probably a bunch of other places to update all the old links.

So I’ll still need a little patience from you guys. There’s honestly a ridiculous amount of stuff to go through.

* I’ve also reorganized the **playlists on the channel**. They should make it much easier to move through the songs now. They’re still not perfect, but definitely better than before.

If you’re someone who actually uses the playlists a lot, let me know what you think. Feedback on that would be really useful.

* I’m also testing some **new thumbnail styles**.

I’ll admit this one feels a little weird to me, because simply making a beautiful thumbnail isn’t always enough to make people click on a song.

So I’m thinking about trying something like this:

Use a more eye-catching thumbnail while the song is still in its “hot” period, and then once it settles into the catalog/playlists, switch it back to something more cinematic and visually fitting.

That said, I honestly don’t dislike the current thumbnails at all. They’re just a little less cinematic than the older style.

* Another small change: **instrumental tracks will be hidden from the channel within about a week.**

* They are **NOT** being deleted.

They’ll simply become unlisted, so if there are any instrumentals you like, save them to a playlist and you’ll still be able to listen to them whenever you want, just like the old pre-remastered versions of the songs.

* There’s also still **one remaster left to finish: Zed**.

I’ll try to get that done soon so I can finally close out the remastering cycle.

Needless to say, it's completely different from usual, and needless to say how many dozens of hours I poured into it—in 12 hours tomorrow you'll see why. Today I'm here to beg: since the algorithm is probably going to be completely confused by this, I'd really appreciate a hand from you to help it get some traction. Drop a comment, build some hype, and share it (obviously if you like it). Even negative comments help, so if you want to leave some criticism, that's totally welcome too. Hey everyone,

I've broken everything down into 5 quick points above so you can catch up in a flash. Everything you'll find below is just me rambling a bit more on the details!

*Music is coming back: The new distributor has monthly upload limits, so all tracks will be back online within 2 months max.

*No social media distribution: The new distributor doesn't put music on social platforms. While social brings zero revenue and little visibility, I'll miss seeing your TikTok edits and reactions, so I'm hunting for a workaround.

*DistroKid rant: Their support is nonexistent, leaving all tracks offline and online at the same time (forcing a manual ticket per track).

*Diablo project: The cinematic video is finished; a dedicated post with release details is coming in a few days.

*Poll below: Drop 1 or 2 songs you want prioritized in the comments.


I wanted to give you a quick update on the music situation with the distributors. In short, we can consider it sorted out. The songs will take a little while to reappear because our new distributor has some monthly upload limits, though thankfully they aren't overly punishing. Everything will be back online eventually. Any other issues left over are purely personal and don't affect the channel at all, so I won't bother getting into them.

Now, there is one major downside with the new distributor, at least for me: it doesn't distribute music to social media platforms. I know social media brings in zero revenue and practically zero visibility, but my absolute favorite thing was scrolling through TikTok to see the videos you guys made using my tracks—everything from spontaneous reaction videos to insanely well-made edits and completely random, chaotic clips, haha. I’m going to do everything I can to find a solution to get the music back on TikTok at least.

Working with DistroKid turned out to be a real punch in the gut, especially with their nonexistent support, which honestly left me super disappointed. Because of how they operate, I ended up with all my tracks being offline and online at the exact same time—meaning I have to open a manual support ticket for every single track just to get it approved by the new distributor. As you'll see in the next few days, a lot of them are already trickling back, and barring any unforeseen hiccups, everything should be fully restored within two months max.

I know I’ve asked this before, but to keep things organized, please drop the names of 1 or 2 songs you’d most like to see released first right down below so I can plan the schedule.

On a much brighter note: the cinematic video for the Diablo song is finally finished! In a few days, I'll drop a dedicated post letting you all know how and when it's dropping. Also, keep an eye out in the coming days or weeks—there’s something else I want to talk to you about, though I'm still weighing whether to actually go through with it since it's a bit of a sensitive topic.

Hey guys! I'm finishing up today's song right now—power keeps cutting out, so it's a bit of a struggle haha, but it should still be out on time!

I also wanted to use this update to announce that the cinematic video for the Diablo song is officially in the works! It's set to drop in September. No exact release date just yet, but expect it early in the month. stay tuned!
