I am so sorry for not posting recently, I've had covid for the past week and a half and it's given me such a bad headache (I can barely look at a screen or turn lights on) but once my symptoms get better I'm gonna post the mep 😭👍

in a little less than a month, I will be turning 17. before now, I always felt like I had my life planned out and what I wanted to do. I had a job with great opportunities in the industry I wanted to go into, which was horses. I worked as a stable hand and wanted to eventually become a barn manager/horse trainer. These jobs are VERY physically demanding. Recently, I was diagnosed with a certain condition called CMT (there's so much information about it and I don't feel like getting into it on here) but it's different for everyone. for me, I always showed smalls signs of it. as a kid, I didn't walk normal and I was a bit less coordinated than I should've been, but my parents and doctor didn't see any red flags. as I got older (around 14) I started having severe pain when walking and doing any basic task, so I went to see a specialist. I got custom shoe inserts and braces that help me walk and I was able to ride horses and work without any pain. However, this year and the end of 2024, things became unbearably painful again. I had a ton of other symptoms and eventually got seen by a neurologist who diagnosed my condition.
In short terms, I am disabled and I'm only going to get worse from now on. I had to quit my job and I haven't been able to ride horses since December. I can hardly leave the house because daily life is so painful.
I don't know what I want to do with my future anymore because my dreams were crushed all because of my disability. It's scary because all of my peers already know what colleges they want to go to, what careers they want, and I don't. I used to have a very stable path ahead and I knew exactly what I wanted to do, but now I have no idea. I know I can't just live with my parents forever but I'm not motivated to go to college or work in any other field.
