QUESTION: Why do I use the callsign M0XXT from the Shack? Because Tim M0URX does all our QSLing and the admin of that can be pretty complex and time consuming.. M0XXT is technically a "Club" callsign and it works for all the QSLing we are asked to do.. That's all.
We are not a regular "shop" - Visitors by appointment only (sorry).

I'm writing an extremely complex Sci-Fi Adventure story set in 1831 (Think Lyra from His Dark Materials meets Da Vinci Code). It has perfect logic. This means for it to "feel" right, the puzzle has to be perfect. For instance, one TINY change at the beginning of the book means, I need to race through 80,000 words and fix any other ripples it might have caused. But, I predict I'll be back in the field later next week, mucking about with video cameras and antennas. Hang on! PS Please make sure you are still subscribed. Some folks report they were unsubbed. Computers, eh?!

NEWS. Look guys, you probably know we raised getting on for about $15,000 for Jim, a combination of PayPal donations and the raffle to help Jim out with his prescription bills.. Wendy has started sending the money to Jim who asked for small payments of under $1,000 (daily or weekly) so he stayed under any perceived radar.. We're fine with that. Jim explained to Wendy yesterday that he was in hospital again and indicated that he wasn't too hopefull but thanked Wendy for all we have done for him (obviously that includes you folks too). Reading "between the lines", Wendy was quite upset about Jim's status and the specific words he used - and I just wanted to pass that on. Sure, Jim's not well, he knows that. We all know that. But I just pray that he gets to enjoy the cash. I don't know what else to say.. If I hear anything, I'll post something. Good luck Jim. I love you man.

LiveStreaming the Antenna Field.. Been streaming this for a few days now as a test.. It's the antenna field. Bookmark this and I'll try and remember to keep the thing going. There are "gaps" in the live-stream because if nobody watches, it stops! It's a YouTube feature! Currently in the field is the 12.4 (centre) and a prototype 5/8th for 10m band on test on my old (small) pump up mini tower. Currently the little tower is "down" but I'll try and pump it up in the morning when the wind dies down.
