A shortwave trough is setting up over Oklahoma. This will cause hail up to 2" in diameter, with winds of upwards to 75 mph. There is a large, isolated tornado threat that will expand into the nighttime. There is some uncertainty on how much vertical spin will be allowed, however there is a chance that some tornadoes up to EF-2 will form. As always be safe and I'll catch you guys the next time.

More thunderstorms are forecasted for today. While the threat of tornadoes is moderate the threat will be brief as discrete cells that will begin to fire in the next few hours will congeal into a squall line as time progresses. If tornadoes do happen they will happen quickly before fading away. Pay attention to your local weather authorities for information.
