What do you think of when you think of organ music? Do you even think about organ music? Organ music is not only for the church. The organ is a lot more interesting than you think: every organ is completely different. Organists too. Mostly...

Happy April, everyone!

The winter hibernation is officially over, and while Vanessa did an incredible job managing the "Secret Mission" for the new camera and lens (thank you again to everyone who made that happen!), I have finally wrestled the keys back to the Wishlist! It’s time to spring into action and get this new 6K rig Road Ready for our first cathedral trips of the season!

I’ve updated the Buy Me A Coffee Wishlist with the final "Field Essentials" we need before we hit the road this month:

🛡️ The "Iron Vault" (Pelicase 1510): This is the top priority—I need this indestructible trolley to safely haul the cameras, the mics, recorder et al up those narrow stone spiral stairs.

💡 The LIT DUO 1: A precision light meter to help me master the tricky "God rays" and shadows in those ancient organ lofts.

💾 Samsung T7 Shield: High-speed "Digital Film" to handle the massive 6K data.

🔦 Aputure MT Pro: A tiny magnetic light to hide inside the console so you can see everything at the console in cinematic detail.

The big gear is in the studio; now I just need to get it safely into the loft. If you want to help "Armor Up" the fleet for the April tours, you can support the mission here:

Let’s get that Pelicase finished and get back on the road! 🏛️💨

Hello folks! This weekend, we are completely flipping the script on our usual channel schedule for a very special, two-part musical journey.

Normally, Friday is our high-energy party and Sunday is our peaceful wind-down. But for the Easter weekend, we are turning that completely upside down!

🕯️ Part 1: Good Friday Reflection (Friday @ 22:00 CET)
We are pressing pause on the pop party. Join me for an atmospheric, solemn, and moving evening. We’ll be exploring the majestic, minor-key shadows of the pipe organ with beautiful sacred classics and sweeping cinematic melodies.

🌟 Part 2: Easter Sunday Spectacular (Sunday @ 22:00 CET)
Forget the quiet Sunday wind-down—this is the day the organ was built for! We are pulling out absolutely every stop, blazing the reeds, and shaking the virtual cathedral with the most triumphant, roof-raising hymns and classical showstoppers ever written.

🧠 Weekend Warm-Up Quiz:
To get us in the mood for Sunday's massive celebration, let's test your organ knowledge! Which famous French masterpiece is practically mandatory for an Easter Sunday organist to play at the end of a service?
A) J.S. Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor
B) Charles-Marie Widor’s Toccata from Symphony No. 5
C) Léon Boëllmann’s Suite Gothique
(Drop your guess in the comments, and I'll reveal the answer during Sunday's stream!)

🎟️ The Box Office Ticker is LIVE: Support the streams and see your name on the big screen for both of these epic broadcasts: bit.ly/FraserTickets

Make sure your notifications are on, and I will see you at the console for a truly unforgettable weekend of music! 🎹✨

I’ve officially taken back the keys to the Buy Me A Coffee page, and while we’ve sorted the big cameras and are saving up for the 'Iron Vault' to protect them, I’ve realized there’s one small but mighty tool missing from my field kit.

I’ve just added the LIT DUO 1 Light Meter to the wishlist.

When I'm out on location, especially in those stunning historic churches, the lighting is a nightmare to get right. You have stained glass, dim lanterns, and natural sunlight all fighting each other. This little Swedish-designed device is my 'secret weapon'—it measures the light and color with insane accuracy so I can set up the 6K camera perfectly every single time.

It's about working faster and making sure the videos look as epic as the music sounds. If you want to help me 'master the light' for our March trips, the link is below!

(P.S. I’ve also kept the Peli 1510 and the SSD on there—let's get the field kit finished!)"

🎹 Tonight is Toooooba Concert Night — and I have two very special surprises…

Over the past few weeks I've been quietly exploring two extraordinary sample sets that haven't appeared on the channel before. Both stopped me in my tracks the moment I first played them — and tonight, for the first time, I'm opening them up for the Toooooba family to hear.

I'm not going to tell you what they are just yet.

What I will say is that they're both remarkable instruments with very different characters — and I've been thinking carefully about the repertoire that suits them best. Tonight we'll explore that together, live, as the music finds its way through these new virtual pipes.

If you've ever wondered what it feels like to discover an instrument for the first time — that mixture of curiosity, surprise and delight — that's exactly what tonight is going to be. 🌱

The Toooooba sessions exist precisely for moments like this.

🎟️ Not a member yet? Tonight is a perfect reason to join — your first concert is waiting: buymeacoffee.com/frasergartshore/membership

See you tonight 🎹✨

Many of you know my tour of St. Bonifatius in Wiesbaden—famous for its massive sound and, of course, the "Secret Room" hidden deep inside the organ case! 🍷

With plans for a new instrument on the horizon (3-4 years), that video is slowly becoming a piece of history. If you haven't seen the "Hidden Chamber" yet, watch the tour while the organ is still with us!

Have you ever played an instrument that no longer exists? Let me know in the comments! 👇

🚐 Spring is calling... and the "Travel Fund" is back! 🎹☀️

Is it just me, or does it finally feel like Spring is in the air?

With March just around the corner, It's definitely time to get back out on the road, visit some stunning instruments, and get some fresh recordings in the bag for you all.

As you probably know, Vanessa is still guarding the mystery items on the wishlist, but I’ve managed to convince her to let me add the Organ Travel Expenses back on there. Since I'm the one who has to actually drive the car and sort out the routes, she figured I was allowed to know about that one! 😅

That fund covers the basecamp costs that make these trips possible. If we can get that topped up by the end of the month, we can officially start mapping out the first route of the season.

Vanessa did drop a hint, though. She mentioned that there are a couple of "secret" items on the list that would make these upcoming trips look and sound significantly better if we had them "in the bag" before we head out. I still have no idea what she’s got on there, but if she’s excited about the tech, it must be something special!

If you’ve got a few euros to spare to help us hit those end-of-the-month goals and get the car fueled up and ready to go, it would be massively appreciated. Let’s get 2026 back on the road!
