What a start it's been. Our very first hybrid concert in Gackenbach last month was everything I'd hoped for — a full church, a wonderful online audience from around the world, and a real sense that we were all part of something together. To everyone who was there, in the pews or on the sofa: thank you. You made it special. ❤️

Now comes something close to my heart. On Sunday 18 October at 18:00, I return to the great organ of St Josef, Bonn-Beuel — the very instrument where my organ life in Germany began, 27 years ago. A true homecoming, and the second stop in our new concert series.

This is the heart of what we're building: real concerts from remarkable organs, shared live by an audience in the church and by friends watching worldwide — everyone with a ticket, everyone part of the same evening. One church, one community, one occasion, wherever you are.

Was für ein Auftakt. Unser allererstes Hybrid-Konzert in Gackenbach im letzten Monat war alles, was ich mir erhofft hatte — eine volle Kirche, ein wunderbares Online-Publikum aus aller Welt und das echte Gefühl, gemeinsam Teil von etwas zu sein. Allen, die dabei waren, in der Kirchenbank oder auf dem Sofa: Danke. Ihr habt es zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. ❤️

Jetzt kommt etwas, das mir sehr am Herzen liegt. Am Sonntag, den 18. Oktober um 18 Uhr kehre ich an die große Orgel von St. Josef, Bonn-Beuel zurück — das Instrument, an dem vor 27 Jahren mein Orgelleben in Deutschland begann. Eine echte Heimkehr und die zweite Station unserer neuen Konzertreihe.

Genau darum geht es bei dem, was wir aufbauen: echte Konzerte an außergewöhnlichen Orgeln, gemeinsam erlebt von einem Publikum in der Kirche und von Freunden weltweit am Bildschirm — alle mit Ticket, alle Teil desselben Abends. Eine Kirche, eine Gemeinschaft, ein Erlebnis, wo auch immer du bist.
