Ashanté is a two-time graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she received a B.S. in International Trade and Marketing for the Fashion Industries and a B.S in Marketing, and Advertising Communications. She has also completed an A.A.S in Fashion Merchandising Management.

Over the last decade, she has fine tuned her skills as a digital marketing expert, having worked as a wardrobe stylist, photo shoot producer, and public relations manager. In 2019 she decided to put full efforts into her blog where she provides in depth reviews on the latest releases in beauty, skincare, haircare, fitness, and fashion.

In 2021 Ashanté launched Novados Swim, a luxury crochet swimwear collection that aims to create sustainable handmade pieces with minimal impact on the environment and oceans.
