Nature Connect
This past weekend, Nature Connect joined forces with @GreenpopTreevolution and Stellenbosch University for a fulfilling planting day at Helderberg Hospital. Our team of Conservation Leaders worked alongside passionate volunteers to transform the hospital's outdoor spaces, bringing a fresh wave of greenery to this important healthcare facility.
The day was filled with purpose and collaboration as we cleared paths, weeded, pruned, and neatened up areas to make room for new plantings. Together, we carefully watered and nurtured the plants, contributing to the creation of a healthier, more restorative environment for the hospital’s staff, patients, and visitors. It’s a reminder of the power of collaboration—when organisations like Nature Connect, Greenpop, and Stellenbosch University come together, incredible things happen.
This planting day is just one example of how working together can have a lasting impact on our environment and well-being. We're proud to be part of such a meaningful initiative, and we look forward to more opportunities to grow, restore, and protect the spaces that make our communities thrive.
