Well the Dartmoor Prison Break 2025 was completed last night.
I got from the prison (obviously) all the way to St Michaels Chapel at Rames Head.
Covering 25 miles of walking and 19 miles as the crow flies 🤙🏼
Raised £263 for Dartmoor Search and Rescue 🙏🏼

Yesterday I participated in the Dartmoor Prison Break!
It was a grueling task, evading the law for 12 hours 👮🏼♂️

So tomorrow is the big 32 mile hike across Dartmoor (North to South). It's come around fast!
☀️ We will start at 6am from Okehampton College and finish at Ivybridge College. 🌙
It's going to be a long day but knowing that we have raised over £600 for charity is going to push us to complete the journey!
Some key milestones throughout the day:
7 miles in - Hanging Stone Hill - The highest point of the journey at 1960ft.
13 miles in - Bellever Forest - A nice walk through the forest and past Bellever Tor.
18 miles in - Dartmeet - LUNCH! 🥪
20 miles in - Ryders Hill - A 800ft climb over 2 miles.
24 miles in - Near Red Lake - The final descent to the finish line.
We are hoping to complete this in around 12-13 hours!
We have packed the torches just in case though! 🔦
