ITEM of INTEREST

Ok, so if there's ONE thing I don't like about my PRINCE Nikon D4 camera, it's that it don't fit nicely into a travel bag. Perfect for work, but like a child on me when I wanna go places.

Well, after TONS of research and testing and LOOKING, I found THE perfect travel camera for me that ALSO looks like the hottest retro b*tch in town.

This is a Fujifilm Xpro2. It's a mirrorless camera, which as many people know, I'm not a huge fan of (except for their conveniently small travel size).

But do you see that little window in the top right corner?

THAT'S WHY I BOUGHT THIS THING.

My biggest personal grip with mirrorless cameras is that you aren't really looking at the world when you look through them. You are actually watching Netflix. You are staring at a damn TV screen instead of the real world like you are with a DSLR (hence why my Nikon D4 will never be sold or "out-dated").

We spend enough time staring at phone screens, TV screens and computer screens all day.

I do NOT want my photography pleasure time to involve looking at another motherf*cking screen!

Hence why this Xpro2 has been my perfect travel camera. Because that window in the top right corner is a REAL window which your eye looks through.

And aside from my Nikon D4, it's my second ever camera which I have felt TOTALLY satisfied purchasing and using daily. It's not for everyone, but everyone is not me.

So there you go.

More and more people are discovering my various online photography courses and are WINNING on them. Here's the latest graduate of The Photography Course, his feedback and a wicked black and white self-portrait he sent through.

“BEST PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE OUT THERE"

“This was a brilliant course. Luke is such a knowledgeable and down-to-earth teacher. He doesn’t bother with any of that pompous technical jargon that impedes the progress of most learners; he actually cares about your progress and wants you to learn and improve.

“He is incredibly helpful through his feedback and is also incredibly validating when you get something right. I have watched many ‘how to’s’ and tutorials on YouTube, always keeping the idea that paying for a course is silly with so much free information, but this course changed what I believe.

“Luke goes over incredibly important and often overlooked aspects of photography that most teachers just assume a student should already know (despite the fact that most dont!). So with that, this course is worth the money and more. Thank you Luke.”

ARE CAMERA BRANDS LYING TO YOU?

If they're suggesting that buying their latest and greatest computerized box will ensure your photos look awesome, then yes.

The camera does nothing without a knowledge of what your actually doing with it. It can ASSIST in some ways, but that's as far as you'll want it to go.

If you WANT to let computers or AI do your creating for you, then sit back, lay down, do nothing. I'm sure that's fun.

But if YOU want to create great photos, know what you're doing, feel of pleasure and satisfaction of having done it yourself, then actually you just need some knowledge and a basic camera that works.

Try my photography course if you want the straight dope in an easy-to-digest, hella-informal way.

I'll help you, and it's not pricy like a new camera is either. How about that.
