ज़ुल्फ़िक़ार, हज़रत अली की तलवार का नाम है। यह वही तलवार है जिससे हज़रत अली ने बहुत सी लड़ाइयां लड़ी और सभी में जीत हासिल की और आप बहुत बड़े जंगजू के तौर पर उभरे। ज़ुल्फ़िक़ार उस समय की बहुत ही अलग तलवार थी क्योंकि इस तलवार की दो नोंके थी। यह बहुत ही तेज़ थी जिससे यह आम तलवारों से अलग थी। कुछ रिवायतों में यह है कि प्यारे नबी मोहम्मद (स.अ.व.) ने यह तलवार हज़रत अली को जंग के दरमियान दी थी और कुछ में यह ज़िक्र है कि अल्लाह के हुक्म से हज़रत जिब्रईल ने प्यारे नबी मोहम्मद (स.अ.व.) को यह तलवार दी और उसके बाद आप ने हज़रत अली को यह तलवार दी | हज़रत अली के बाद यह तलवार आप के परिवार में ही रही और हज़रत इमाम हुसैन ने इसी तलवार से कर्बला की जंग भी लड़ी
