Hi everyone,

I’ll be running another two-day off-road tour with my friend Pete for Learn Enduro Vietnam on the 13th–14th of December!

We’ll depart from Hanoi in the morning and ride to Hòa Bình, exploring a mix of new off-road trails before finishing the day at Da Bac Eco Lodge. We’ll stay at the lakeside homestay and enjoy some great food and views.

On day two, we’ll take on more trails as we make our way back to Hanoi, offering guidance, tips, and support along the way. We expect to arrive back in Hanoi by 5 PM on the 14th.

I am releasing a video tomorrow that I put off making for a long time.

It is a fundamental part of my off-road lessons that I teach and charge for. I figured if I released this information for free - it would make a large part of my lessons redundant.

But after teaching dirt bike lessons for 2 years, I’ve grown to realise the most important part of a teacher is not necessarily introducing new skills - but giving riders confidence when they get it right, often unaware of their own improvement. Moreover, pointing out when riders think they are in the correct position, but they are not. There’s some things riders just can’t get from YouTube alone.

Secondly, I decided to make this video raw - as if it were one of my lessons. In the 21st century, most of us have short attention spans. We like short clips, edited, and with lots of exciting B Roll. For that reason, this video may not do that well. It is filmed in one shot, and unedited, but I’m proud of the fact I spoke for 9 minutes with only a couple small mistakes.

Hi everyone,

On October 4th–5th my friend Petteri and I will be running our third off-road tour in Hoa Bình with our business Learn Enduro Vietnam. Instead of the usual route, we’ll follow an A to B style format and hit brand new off-road trails on the way to the homestay and explore new routes on the way back. Expect fresh trails, a boat ride, and some incredible views along the way.

Hi everyone 👋

My initial aim for YouTube was to help promote my new business - Dirt Bike Lessons and Tours in North Vietnam.

But after posting every week (nearly) for 10 months it has become about so much more. So many nice comments from riders who have said my videos have helped them (and a few comments taking the piss too). It has been fun to help riders and annoy some people too 😂

And after 10 months we have become monetised! I don’t expect to make much money from the videos, but what an awesome milestone to hit and one I never expected I would when I started out.

So I just want to thank everyone who subscribes, likes, and comments on our videos!
