A Brief History of Option One Solar

The company was originally founded by Jerry Thomas back in 1970, we have been in business for 48 years and have over 57 years of extensive electrical experience dating back to 1961.

​In 2008, additional family members joined efforts to expand the company into the solar market and in 2013 we changed the company name to Option One Corporation to reflect our long term corporate vision and goals.

​When it comes to electrical, and especially solar, 57 years of experience matters. Your solar system will be connecting to your high voltage utility grid, which should only be completed by a highly experienced and professional electrical contractor. Option One is not merely a solar company, we are a licensed C-10 Electrical Contractor and a Licensed C-46 Solar Contractor, highly experienced in every aspect of the field.
