The hardest part of yelling at your child isn’t the yelling itself.

It’s the feeling that comes after, the guilt, the regret, and the wish that you handled things differently.

Many parents struggle with emotional reactions, especially when they are overwhelmed, stressed, or exhausted.

But emotional reactions are not permanent.

They can be retrained with the right tools and guidance.

Calm parenting is not about perfection. It’s about learning how to respond with awareness, patience, and emotional control.

If you want to stop yelling and start responding with calm, this course is for you.

Why do moms end up yelling at their children?

For many parents, it follows the same pattern:

The child ignores instructions.
The parent repeats it several times.
Frustration begins to build.
And eventually the voice gets louder.

Not because the parent wants to yell but because they feel overwhelmed and unheard.

But the real issue is often disconnection, not discipline.

When children feel emotionally connected to their parents, they are more likely to cooperate and respond calmly.

If you want to stop the yelling cycle and raise emotionally intelligent, cooperative children, this course was created for you.

📚 Excerpts from the Book 📚
"How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will talk" by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish.

Chapter 1: Helping Children Deal With Their Feelings.

🔶When kids feel right, they will behave right. We help them feel right by accepting their feelings. But what happens many at times is the dismissal of feelings which makes kids confused about their feelings.

Scenario 1:

Child: I'm hungry
Mom: You can't be hungry, you just had a snack!
Child: But I'm hungry!
Mom: You're not hungry, you just want to disturb mom!

👆This conversation is telling the child not to trust their perceptions but rely on the mom's instead.

We can navigate through this by putting ourselves in our kid's shoes.

🔶Feelings can be helped through:
📍 Listening with full attention.
Actively listening to what a child is saying and putting away all distractions can make a big difference

📍 Acknowledgment of feelings with a word. Like "oh!", "Mmmhh!" "I see" . Words like these, coupled with a caring attitude, are invitations to a child to explore her own thoughts and feelings, and possibly come up with her own solutions.

📍 Giving their feelings a name. Urging a child to push a bad feelings away makes the child get more upset. Like saying, "stop crying, it is just a single necklace that got lost! You've got lots of it at home." Say instead, "you're sad"

🔴 NOTES 🔴

🔴Resist the temptation to "make better" instantly. Instead of giving advice, continue to listen and acknowledge their feelings.

🔴The time when you empathize with your child is when a child wants you to know how he feels.

🔴Instead of asking what happened? Or why are you feeling that way. Say , I see something is making you sad.

🔴Parents shouldn't respond to a child's feeling with a strong emotion (over reacting).
🚫Oh!, what your friend did is inexcusable! Why would she have done that, she is really selfish!

🔴For some kids, their parent's presence is enough comfort for them. No words, just silent calm moments beside each other with some *"pats"* , maybe.

You promised yourself you wouldn’t yell today.

But by the end of the day, your patience ran out and the guilt followed immediately.

Many mothers struggle with this cycle of yelling, regret, and exhaustion.

The truth is, young children are still learning emotional regulation, cooperation, and self-control. They need calm leadership, clear boundaries, and connection.

This is exactly what parents can learn through the right guidance.
