Hey everyone, 

Some of you are probably wondering what I’ve been up to since I haven’t uploaded in awhile. 

Truth is, I’ve decided to take an indefinite hiatus from long form YouTube content. I’m still uploading shorts on here and my other social medias as you’ve seen, but when it comes to a commitment to long form content…I’m done for now. 

It’s been more than 6 years since I started the channel and while I’ve grown in ways I never thought possible, it’s still not to the degree that I’ve wanted. The type of content that is required to “get views and engagement” is not something that fulfills me and the content that I do like doing has never gotten enough traction. I recognize that part of the reason for the lack of growth is my lack of focus on specific or niche topics. It’s definitely not a lack of consistency, because I’ve delivered on that front. It’s just not in my creative heart to talk about one thing and one thing only. I get bored and creatively depressed. 

YouTube’s algorithm and its focus on a niche creative strategy has truly been the most detrimental thing to my channel. 

Additionally, something that is a little harder to accept, though it is what it is, is the realization that maybe part of the issue is me—my personality, who I am. Sometimes you’re just not someone that a multitude of people want to tune in for. 

This doesn’t mean I will never ever post a long form video, I might do it if I really feel compelled to, but it is no longer a priority nor a commitment. 

I would like to thank all of you who have tuned in to all or a few videos through the years, your comments and support is what truly kept me going for so long. I will hold a special place in my heart for each and every one of you. Thank you. 

Like I said, I’m still doing short form content so I will not disappear. And, I would like to get back to doing more creative things like original music and short films/skits.

Wanted to apologize for the lack of videos. Life has been life-in, if you know what I mean. But I am working on a VERY long review of ‘Michael’ and it’ll be done very soon.

For all my Charlie Puth fans, and other peeps, I’ll focus on other topics too after that.
