I have been taking configurators apart on this channel since 2017, but a lot of what turns up never makes it into a video. Order guide details, price corrections, what a car is actually worth now versus what it stickered at.

The first issue had the full Slate Truck spec sheet, including a DC charging figure that Slate, Car and Driver, and MotorTrend all report differently. The Pontiac Aztek jumping 62 percent in Kelley Blue Book value after three flat years. And why a 2024 ZL1 1LE sold above its original sticker while a Collector Edition ZL1 could not find a buyer at $82,000.

I've been helping people with car buying decisions for a while now, and the #1 question I get is "how much car can I actually afford?"
Most people either:
Use dealer calculators that maximize approval (not affordability)
Just guess based on the monthly payment

This one is interesting because the Venue may now be the cheapest new vehicle in America, starting at just $20,550 before destination.
For 2026, Hyundai simplified the lineup to three trims: SE, SEL, and SEL w/ 2-Tone Roof. The SE is the budget play, the SEL is the smart value trim, and the SEL w/ 2-
Tone Roof is the style pick.
My choice would be the SEL.
