Hello I'm Sarah, professional seamstress and owner of the S79 Sewing Studio in Redditch, England. Having worked as a seamstress for many years, I’m now sharing my passion for sewing though tutorial videos and lessons in my studio, and very much hoping to inspire others to give sewing a go! Whether altering or repairing existing clothing, up cycling textiles, making clothes to fit or making beautiful fabric crafts, I’m sure learning to sew can benefit everyone!

Good Morning everyone! Just trying out this new ‘post’ feature, and thought I’d give you a little sneak preview of the next S79 sewing tutorial… A fabulous quick and easy Advent Calendar… I just have to sort the numbers! So if you’re like me and hate chocolate (or at least hate the advent calendar chocolate) why not make your own and fill the pockets with something better! (These can be enlarged to hold mini bottles of gin!…just saying 😜)
