Good evening, everyone. I have a bit of a state of the channel announcement as many of you know I was supposed to take a trip to Eastern Pennsylvania this month, and I'm sure you are all wondering where that content is. The trip was supposed to be earlier in the month. However, my mom and I decided not to go due to financial reasons. However, she did give me her blessing to go on a pure railfanning trip of my choice. @andross51 and I do have something very special planned for September of this year. Don't worry, it's not Tehachapi or in California, for that matter. I will post one picture as a hint, however.

I thought I'd reach out to our awesome community to ask for some railfanning location suggestions for my trip to eastern PA in May of this year, (yes I know about the NEC) BUT I'm specifically asking about NS & CSX unfortunately Altoona ETC is too far away. Any info or resource links would be greatly appreciated. One last reminder the purpose of this trip is not for railfanning (It's for my Uncle's delayed memorial) so I'd guess I'd only have 3 days tops trackside but I'm not sure

I normally don't use the Community tab for posts, BUT I'm reaching out for advice for something next Spring. My Uncle passed away earlier this year and my Mom & I are flying back to Eastern PA (near Philly) for it next Spring. What hotspots would you guys suggest Unfortunately Horseshoe Curve etc. is just too far away, I do want to see a bit of everything Amtrak on the NEC SEPTA NS & CSX. if you guys that are knowledgeable about that area please comment suggestions for me to research.
