Sup Yallskies! Last night I finished making this 3D model, and decided to test out some of 5.2’s new compositing nodes with it!


-Rim 2D

Pretty neat! Saves me a couple minutes in Procreate. (So I don’t have to make the outline myself.)



-Paint Filter

UMMM IM OBSESSED OMG???? I LOVE IT!!! ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!



-Night Vision

It’s pretty cool, but I cant really imagine a situation where I’d use it.





So yeah! New compositing nodes are pretty cool! (Especially the Paint Filter!)

Real quick, I went and updated my KITT model bc you never know…


I made the topology less headache inducing, made the materials more accurate, (along with the rest of the model with a few exceptions.)
I rigged the scanner so it works to some extent…? (It’s VERY rudimentary 😅) I also added basic looking axles, and the headlights actually work now.

Not too happy with the fog lights, the references I used didn’t have them so I kinda just winged it. The front is also a tiny bit more narrow than it should be.


But overall, I think it turned out pretty good for a 3 hour job 😅
