Rode Cades Cove today! 🚲⛰️

And somehow I picked the PERFECT day — Wednesdays are vehicle-free, so the entire loop was bikes and people on foot. No cars. Just the mountains, wildlife, old cabins, and one of the most beautiful rides I’ve done on this entire trip.

I took a ton of photos and filmed the whole experience, so there’s definitely a Cades Cove vlog coming. 👀

Tennessee continues to surprise the hell out of me.

Adam Travels The World

Tonight was one of those random moments on this trip that I’ll probably remember for a long time.

I was sitting off a trail transferring footage onto my laptop when I heard voices coming toward me. My first thought was basically, “Well, shit, somebody found me.” 😂

Turns out it was Tim and Yolanda walking their dog, Raspberry. They came over, started talking to me, asked about my trip, and before I knew it they were offering me everything—food, water, a shower, a place to wash my clothes, whatever I needed.

They’ve been married for 37 years, and just watching them joke around with each other while we talked was honestly beautiful. You could tell these two still genuinely love and enjoy each other.

They’re also believers, and we ended up talking about Jesus and faith and how I’ve been trying to take my own faith more seriously lately.

A little while later they came back with food, a cold drink, water, wet wipes, toilet paper, and a Bible for me.

Just unbelievably kind people.

I don’t know why certain people cross your path when they do. Maybe sometimes there’s meaning behind it, maybe sometimes it’s just two good people deciding to be good to a stranger.

Either way, I’m grateful I met Tim and Yolanda tonight.

This is one of my favorite parts of traveling like this. You never know who you’re going to meet. ❤️
