I’m officially back in the PH after 9 wonderful days in Bali, Indonesia. 40% of my time was spent in Pejeng for my sound healing training. For the other 60%, I was able to go motorcycling, bicycling, birding, temple hopping, walking, and eating, eating, and eating! 😄

Bali has been interesting so far, and I’m still here for a few more days. This trip made me realize how much travel has changed for me. I try to veer away from popular "Instagram" or viral locations now, and I’m completely okay if I don’t check off everything on my list. Sometimes it’s just about going with the flow and discovering places naturally. Excited to share some of these stories once I’m back!

Maraming salamat ulit sa mga bumati ng happy birthday! Promise I’ve seen each of them but was just too busy to respond. I’ve been zooming around the Jimbaran and Uluwatu areas here in southern Bali with this handy and cute Honda Scoopy. Initially, I wanted to rent a Yamaha Grand Filano, but the unit got damaged by a previous renter. So I went local and tried driving the most common model here aside from the Fazzio and Varios (Click).

Driving here wasn’t as bad as I was expecting (though I heard Ubud can be a lot more challenging). Aside from getting used to left-side driving, I also had to get used to the local behavior. Mas madaming kamote dito kesa sa Manila! Haha. Not for the beginner or faint of heart. Roads are narrow, some conditions are bad, and some are very steep as if you are driving along ridges—but it led to some of the most scenic locations. Quite an experience, and I enjoyed it!

Nasa kalagitnaan pa lang ako ng pag edit ng video from our recent Catanduanes cycling trip since kaka sort ko pa lang ng mga materials. Natuwa lang ako sa area ng Bato Bridge and Church na na abutan namin na me low lying clouds pa.

Isa rin sa napansin kong pagbabago sa huli kong pagbisita (2018) - lumawak yung daan along the river. Nagkaroon din ng magandang promenade ang mga locals. Nice development. Ganda mo pa rin, Happy Island!
