My Research Presentation went... memorable, to say the least...
(WARNING: LONG TEXT AHEAD. ⚠️)
So this happened last Thursday(September 3, 2026) and this was a group project where we had to work on a Research Title Defense. Obviously, I won't say my groupmates real names due to privacy reasons so for the sake of the story, I'll be calling them Eobard, Bee, Cavalry, and Winter.
Cavalry, at 7:55AM, decided it was a GOOD TIME TO GO TO THE BATHROOM AND WASH HER FACE. Me and Bee tried to tell her that ITS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO DO THAT BECAUSE OUR PRESENTATION WAS AT 8:00AM. SHE DID IT ANYWAYS AND CAME BACK AT 8:05AM AND WE HAD TIME DEDUCTED OFF OUR PRESENTATION BECAUSE THERES A 15 MINUTE TIME LIMIT. (we only had 10 minutes left 😭😭😭)
So, I began delivering my part quickly where I introduce the topic "Impact of Digital Curfews Before Bedtime on Sleep Quality Among Senior Students". The whole idea for this topic was basically:
> You don't use your phone for 1 hour before you go to bed.
> Your brain gets enough time to develop melatonin.
> Thus, you get better overall sleep.
My introduction went pretty smooth, I didn't even stutter once despite speaking at MACH 50 and then Winter and Bee went pretty smooth with their parts as well.
HOWEVER, WHEN CAVALRY BEGAN SPEAKING HER PART, SHE WAS EXPLAINING EVERYTHING IN EVERY DETAIL. THIS WOULDN'T BE BAD IF WE SIMPLY DIDN'T HAVE A FEW MINUTES TO PRESENT. 😭🙏
Eobard is supposed to present next after Cavalry and I look at him, he looks back at me, his reaction was basically:
"uhhh how am I supposed to explain my part when I will barely have any time left? 👁👄👁"
Thankfully, our Teacher stopped Cavalry mid-way and told her that time is running out and she explained enough already so our Teacher wants to move on to the next part.
Eobard explains his part well and then I had to speedrun the conclusion afterwards because I HAD 30 SECONDS LEFT.
At the end, our Teacher asked us questions individually.
My question was basically "send 1 source" so I did just that and our Teacher actually accepted it.
I thought "Okay, the teacher gave me a pretty easy question so hopefully my groupmates can answer whatever the teacher throws at them. 😌"
WRONG, TURNS OUT I HAD THE EASIEST QUESTION AMONG ALL OF THEM. ❌️
Bee answered her question pretty easily despite it being alot harder than mine.
Cavalry then gets hit with a "What methodology will be used for your proposed topic and discuss briefly how it will be conducted to collect data and answer your questions?" and although she answered it, it took alot of random pauses and stutters.
Now, Eobard kinda airballed here. Teacher asked "Can you explain the logical connection between your variables?", Eobard answered it but then TEACHER ASKED A FOLLOW-UP QUESTION ABOUT THE SURVEYS AND EOBARD WENT DEAD SILENT.
Eobard then looked at me, I was like "BRO WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT? 🥀". I whispered to him "You made the survey questions so can you answer this?".
Eobard NEVER ANSWERED.
Our Teacher then moved on and told us that the topic was fine but she expected better.
At the end, when our Teacher left to go check on the next group, I ask all of my groupmates "Are you guys okay?" cause I wanted to check up on them like a good group leader.
Cavalry says with the most DEADPAN, DEFEATED, MONOTONE VOICE EVER:
Expect no new content for like the next 1 - 3 months. I need to focus on studying for my first quarter exams in 2 weeks, putting out as much college applications as I can, and studying for several entrance exams(that last around 5 - 8 hours) that I am going to be taking in the next few months.
This is not the end of the road though, I will be back soon...
Hey everyone! I'm gonna stop doing daily uploads to work on making the most high-quality shorts only. I feel like my content now is leaning more on Minecraft Building than Guts & Blackpowder so I wanna make the best builds I can.
Also, my school just started so I'm gonna have less time to work on videos. 😔
I'm planning to create a new short series where I build the dream houses of every G&B YouTuber and then have them as NPCs living in it. Once every house is complete and I get a full neighborhood, I'm calling it "The Guts & Blackpowder Neighborhood Of Fame". 🔥
Now, it is gonna be hard to reach out to some of these creators but I think it will all be worth it in the end when everything is complete. If theres still some empty space left then I might even build the dream houses of some G&B moderators too. 😃
For some reason, Modrinth REFUSES to load any of the instances I created. It told me to try signing in again so I did just that and it STILL DIDN'T WORK. I searched up how to fix this issue and one suggestion was to delete and reinstall Modrinth. I did just that only to discover EVERYTHING GOT THANOS SNAPPED. Not only did I lose the Forever World Instance which had the mods you guys suggested, I also lost 6 DAYS WORTH OF PROGRESS ON THE 30K SPECIAL BUILD. 😭🙏
I'm planning to restart the build on CurseForge and create a new profile for the Forever World. I might also have to add some mods of my own choosing because 75% of the mods there are just Create Addons. 🥀
I'm gonna be taking a short hiatus to work on the 30K Special. I will be back soon.

For some reason, IT WOULD GET STUCK IN THE LOADING SCREEN SO I HAD TO SERVERHOP 5 TIMES BEFORE GETTING ONE THAT ACTUALLY LOADED BUT EVEN THEN, THAT WAS STILL TOO LAGGY TO RECORD ANYTHING AT ALL.
I don't know if this is a issue anyone else has been facing or if its only me because literally every other roblox game is working perfectly fine for me. I'm gonna wait for a few days before recording myself playing it so hopefully the devs will have it fixed by then. 🙏

I'm planning to create a new short series where I build the dream houses of every G&B YouTuber and then have them as NPCs living in it. Once every house is complete and I get a full neighborhood, I'm calling it "The Guts & Blackpowder Neighborhood Of Fame". 🔥
Now, it is gonna be hard to reach out to some of these creators but I think it will all be worth it in the end when everything is complete. If theres still some empty space left then I might even build the dream houses of some G&B moderators too. 😃

Welp, I lost everything on Modrinth... 🫠
