Ok! I've come across a point where I want to make a post about this. This is not a jab to people that think or do this but I feel like giving my input since its kind of only being heard in replies of these kind of posts. Also I'm not the best with wording with these texts so if my shit doesnt make sense i apologise. I don't want this post being shitted on
COMMUNITY STATE: Posts are saying that the community isnt as active as it used to be. People used to be really happy to start out collabs, be happy to help people out on stuff, even host big events. Nowadays people are just hiding away in private servers as if its not safe out there, People are very private with their skills and stuff like that. I'm hearing that there is no "Hierachy". Although I do understand that it's kinda boring without the community's activeness or hierachy, Whenever there IS a sense of hiereachy it's always going to be abused by people on the top im guessing i should say "alphas" (lol). It just feels like they just undermine others. It's like you have to be liked by these people to get good in life especially when back then they used to shit on other people's work. Also another thing is they poke fun at people who have did wrong-doings and I understand that it makes awareness to people sometimes (if it's major) but please for the love of god don't make it like it's highschool drama or atleast dm in private. (i probably blew of steam there or went off-topic but i wanna get that off)
BIGOTRY: This is one of the things that make people drift away. I'm hearing a lot of the Sendoff Productions nowadays are just biased friend group collabs. There were alot of people that were waiting in line to get on board but they got declined. Ik people have said we need to maintain the good quality of people but would it kill just to open the door these small creators. Sendoff has now also given a narrative where someone people are just trying to replicate sendoff collabs by having "high-effort" visuals of some kind and replicated bias. Also I don't like the way people worship this Remix Hall of Fame scandle. It just feel like if it isnt well recognized then it doesnt matter and its not like people would help you with what to change. (Maybe you guys proabably want stars to feel special or something but personally i feel like that's too much.)
ORIGINALITY: I'm going to have to one of the posts some praise. Most people now just copy each other all becuase they want to fit in with V.I.P club friend group. Public servers don't even feel special anymore. Everyone is just using the popular source that either just came out or is just a fad but we never tend to think of sources that WE feel we should use. It's fine if your source just happens to be that popular source but if the source your using is just so it can get the popularity hooked then it would just feel like your copying. We should have courage to just remain ourselves without needing any validation, without trying to be cool with this whole new audio or chorus tick method. Thank god there is somebody who is doing a detailed tutorial series for the basics of how to make sparta remixes and that credit goes to Krasen. He made a tutorial on the basics of making chorus and vegas pro settings. I think he shouldve covered on the vibrato presets but nonetheless this is a good tutorial. It teaches people how to be creative with their art.
DRAMA: I have had my fair share of drama before and some people may say i shouldn't be talking about this and that but this point just needs to be across. Just because someting that the person has done was heinous doesn't mean you have to held them over their heads or make jokes out of them. People have even made videos mocking them for said actions, theres even a whole channel dedicated to that let alone the burner accounts. It's like we can't learn from our actions and move on? Nobody is perfect. They aren't that same person they were months ago or years ago anymore so why are you jabbing at them now? If you want to try and expose somone. make sure it's a valid reason to do so. Some people just out them for stuff that its either pointless or just NEEDS to be dealt in private. It seems like there is just generational hate for a specific person and it just feels wrong. I'm not defending those people in anyway ofcourse but sometimes it gets too much is what i'm saying and I'm glad people are kinda learning from that now.
CONCLUSION: Everyone should just get along with others dispite our diffences and I'm not saying just force yourself but If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it. The whole point of a community is so people can communicate about a topic and bond with each other through that topic. If people are saying this community is not as cheerful as it used to be my response is it kinda has to happen this way but if you're actually trying to change that then put in the effort and listen to your advice no offence. SR has manage to live up to it's name for 18 fucking years so we might as well keep it enjoyable for 30 years lol but anyways yall do yall. Hoped this post helps.
