Crashed my car at Imola…

Happened to me while testing with 32 cars on track. I was P2 during the session, doing a lap for P1. Pushing like crazy and came so close to another fast car that I locked up..😔

At that moment I was a passenger and had to avoid the car in front of me. The gravel and grass was damp, this made the car roll quite fast. Hit the barrier and stepped out of the car. All okay. Just an expensive crash that I did not want😢

Good start, but that was it🙃

Launch off the line was perfect. Middle of the race not a lot happened. We did lack some pace, it was difficult to drive. Started and finished the race in P13, not where we want to be..

Really good race!🚀

Had a mega start from P13, moving up some positions. In the middle of the race I had good fights and moved up to P9. Let my teammate pass, to give him extra championship points.

Came over the line at P8, but I had a tracklimit penalty, which drops me to P9.

Tomorrow we fight again🦁

Qualy wasn’t good at all😕

First run I got blocked in the traffic in every lap, it was a mess. The second run I had to get a lap in, but the car seemed to not work with my driving style. Starting P14/31 for both races.

The unseen side of a racing season at the highest level 🫣

16 race weekends.
Two championships.
A year that demanded more than ever before.

After an incredible 2024 season, where I won the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux title, I knew it was time to take the next big step in my career.

2025 was my first full season in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy and the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup.
Two top-tier series, filled with factory drivers and champions with years of experience.

A rookie season I’m proud of, which was packed with challenges that no one sees.

What people do see: the circuits, the highlights, and the posts on social media.
What they don’t see: the endless preparation, back-to-back race weekends, brand campaigns, constant pressure to perform, and the financial puzzle behind the scenes.

The budget for this season still isn’t fully covered. Almost every weekend, I raced with that thought in the back of my mind:
“Dirk, don’t take that risk — a crash could end everything.”
This season brought a lot of stress, but even more resilience.

At the same time, I built new partnerships this year that I’m truly grateful for the companies that believe in the value I create throughout my racing season.
Without their support, this year simply wouldn’t have been possible. 🙏

And while the current season isn’t even over yet…
I’m already working on 2026.
Sponsorship talks. Strategy. Planning. Because at this level, next year starts now.

There’s no safety net. No certainty.
Only drive, courage, and a plan.

Slicks on a damp track🤩

Had a great start to the race moving from P13 to P10 in the opening laps. Was really cool to experience a wet track on slicks🔥

In the middle of the race I made a mistake by braking 20m too late at the hairpin, all on me. We finished the race in P11.

Super unlucky race😒

We showed a great opening of the race by moving from P7 to P5. Then multiple incidents happened, which made me lose a lot of positions. A penalty lap after not getting any tracklimits warnings on the display, was not ideal. Let’s recharge and go again tomorrow!

Good step in Qualifying👌🏼

Made some improvements from practice and had a good lap in the first run. The second run was a bit messy, just a tenth off from P9. Gonna analyse the data to improve for the races💪🏼
