The journey of expression has been a rocky one. The desire to show only the best, most curated parts of life or else experiencing and paying the cost of unsafety is still something I work on every day. People tell me I am brave. And I am.
I own that.
But bravery has a cost of constant turmoil and shadow and awareness work. Bravery requires vulnerability. Which is such an antithesis of the modern media and digital space perfectionism. And of course we could do both. That is what integration is.
We're (I) not in the practice of judgement of one as right or wrong.
We're in the practice of choice and awareness and authenticity.
If one is true for you then it is right. If the other one is then it's also right.
