YOU ARE DIVINELY PROTECTED

"And these signs shall follow those who believe...they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them..." - Mark 16:17-18

he Lord never sends you on a mission without equipping and protecting you. In Mark 16:17- 18, Jesus spoke of the signs that would follow believers; not the other way around. The signs accompany your faith and obedience. This means divine protection goes wherever God calls you. As you walk in His direction, His power and backing go with you.

When the Scripture mentions taking up serpents, it symbolizes authority over the powers of darkness. From the deception in Genesis 3, the serpent has represented evil and opposition. Yet in Christ, you have God's authority. The life of God in you neutralizes the enemy's attacks; what was meant to harm you loses its effect because you are divinely immuned.

Just as physical immunization protects the body from disease, receiving the Holy Spirit provides divine immunity: protection from life's harmful influences, toxic, and negative forces designed to destroy. A vivid example is seen in the life of Paul the Apostle in acts 28:3-5. A viper fastened onto his hand, yet he suffered no harm.Onlookers expected him to swell or die, but nothing happened. Why? He walked in God's will and was divinely protected. When you operate in God's purpose, circumstance can terminate your destiny. The fire may be hot, the serpent may strike, but God's preservation is unshakable.
This is your assurance: in Christ, you are divinely secured.

Become conscious of this protection. When challenges arise, your first response shouldn't be fear or human solutions; it should be the recognition of your divine immunity. Then, declare God's Word over the situation, and you will experience victory. Glory to God!

PRAYER / DECLARATION
Dear Father, I thank You for Your divine protection at work in my life. As I walk in Your purpose, I am preserved from evil and harm. No attack of the enemy can thwart Your plan for me. I walk in boldness and confidence, knowing I am divinely secured, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

During the Day of Glory Service on April 5, 2026, Apostle Chuks Akuma taught from Jesus’ declaration, “I am the gate,” revealing Christ as the only access to salvation, security, and divine life. He emphasized that Jesus is both the entrance and the covering—bringing believers into intimacy with God and preserving them within His protection.

He explained that salvation is open to all but must be personally received through faith. To enter through Christ is to step into freedom and assurance—“to come in and go out” speaks of a life without fear, sustained under the care of a faithful Shepherd. In Him, believers find provision, nourishment, and fulfillment, reflecting the abundant life Jesus came to give.

Apostle Chuks further highlighted what believers receive in Christ: eternal life—the very nature of God within. This life is not only future but a present reality, expressed through intimacy with God. Alongside this is the indwelling Holy Spirit, empowering believers to live transformed lives that reflect their new identity.

He concluded by emphasizing that this eternal life produces newness of life, godly fruit, and unwavering hope. Even in trials, believers are sustained by the assurance that what they carry is eternal.
