So, we did it 🤴🦁

We have officially hit 100,000 subscribers on CubCamTV 📈

100K people have clicked on a video I’ve made and gone, yeah he’s alright I’ll subscribe. This is absolutely mind-boggling to me and I’m almost a bit numb to it as it doesn’t really feel real yet. 🤯

Four and a half years of daily uploads since the first day of the first lockdown, over 3000 videos uploaded, over 380,000 hours of content watched by you guys and over 7 million video views from over 50 different countries. It’s all just a bit mad when you sit back and try to quantify it. All I can say is thank you ❤️

In my life I’ve had the opportunity to help build some awesome projects, with some incredible people, all of which I hold very dearly to my heart and am proud to have worked on. However, CubCamTV is the only project I’ve ever worked on that has been 100% myself, from artwork and video editing to creative direction, engineering & video concepts.

The platform has given me the opportunity to interview some of the biggest afrobeats and dancehall artists & producers on the planet, such as Bounty Killer, Cham, Ayra Starr, Mr Vegas, Diamond Platnumz, Andre Vibez and so many more, and for this especially I am super grateful.

I suppose if there is a point to be made in that, it’s that you don’t have to follow a media-designed blueprint to reach people, you don’t have to chase virility for a quick blow up, if you are patient, and consistent, and just keep going with the way you believe things can be done, you can achieve what you want to by doing it your way.

I want to again say thank you to everyone who has supported the channel, you are all spectacular ❤️

Hello all!

Firstly, welcome to the new subscribers!

As most of you are aware I try to upload at least one video a day and have for the last 4 years. It’s difficult with so many other commitments, but it’s something I’m proud of.

I will however, for the first time since starting this channel, be taking this coming week away from recording as I’ve started to hit of burnout, having run this channel on my own along with my record label Southpoint, Platform B Radio show, my writing work and my 50+ hour a week day job.

I’m going to be resting up, cooking good food, playing video games and catching up with some TV & Films I’ve missed, I hope you guys can understand 🥳

Mental. At the start of this year, I set myself the stretch target of 90,000 subscribers on the channel by the end of the year. With a day to spare, we’ve just become the first UK Afrobeats channel to hit that milestone.

Thank you for the endless support. I still find it mental we ever hit 1000 subs, let alone 90,000. To celebrate, we will be live on CUBCAMTV from 6PM for a special edition of #RequestedLive

Next year, we bring home the 100K plaque!

Easy friends!

I hope you have all been enjoying the content lately, juggling my new job with YouTube has been a bit of a struggle at times but i'm glad to say that we've still been uploading EVERY DAY since the start of the year. We've now moved past 85,000 subscribers and continue to grow every day, thanks to you guys!

Over the Christmas period I'm going to be away from the office, so will have more time to put together some additional content to say thank you to you all for being so awesome, what type of thing would you like to see more of?
