A channel created to educate on disasters and accidents that have happened across the world.
I specialise in oil and gas related disasters, as I work as a safety expert in that field, but I will also be including other areas on my channel. I will also be posting the odd video or short on general offshore oil and gas work - let me know if there is something in particular you would love to know more about.
I also want to address various comments that have been made in my videos:
- Yes, that really is my own voice, it is not AI generated. the 'mockney' accent is because I am from Portsmouth originally (where we are regularly being accused of being mockneys).
- Yes, I know my voice sounds too upbeat in some of my earlier videos - I am an engineer not a voice actor, and was struggling to get my tone right.
- I would love to go in front of the camera, but because I am still working in the safety field, it could impact my ability to do my day job if I reveal my identity.

I've had some viewers complain about having music in my videos. But others say they prefer it. So I would love to know what you all think - music or no music?

I'm currently working on a video about the Alexander Kielland disaster. But what video would you like me to work on after that:

Let me know what other accidents or disasters you would like me to cover on the channel.
I was also thinking about putting on some general videos about working in the oil and gas industry, which is what I do for my day job. If you would like more videos like that, leave a comment below.

Master of Disaster
I've been suffering with illness just recently, so haven't got out as many videos as I wanted. But I have some good ones I'm working on at the moment. My next video will be a history of North Sea Helicopter crashes, so watch out for that one soon - there were more than I thought, so it has taken a bit of time for me to do the research!
