He maps the sacred, past and new,

A mosque rethought, yet still remains
The soul’s retreat from worldly chains.

From Sharjah's shade to Vassar's green,
Each form speaks softly, deep, unseen.

يتحدث كل شكل بنعومة، وعمق، وخفيّة.
يرحبون بالجميع، وليس بالقليل فقط،
ويسألون عما قد يُساعدنا الفضاء عليه.

“The Bridge She Builds”

From Baghdad's breath to Dubai's gleam,
She sketches the shape of a deeper dream—
Not steel alone, nor glassy height,
But forms that pulse with nature’s light.

She draws in green where deserts sigh,
Where marshes weep and rivers dry—
And with each line, a hope reborn:
A bridge, a home, a world transformed.

Her work is not of walls confined,
But systems shaped to heal, to bind—
Where sun and wind and earth conspire
To kindle light, to birth empire—
Not of conquest, but of care,
Where self-sustaining futures flare.

She speaks in currents, roots, and rain,
In quiet towns that rise again.
Where once were ashes, now there stand
Eco-villages carved by hand.

Her structures hum with lives they serve,
Each edge aligned with planet’s curve.
No waste, no want—just woven grace
That lifts a people, heals a place.

The Green Bridge arches not in stone,

لرايا آني

من أنفاس بغداد إلى بريق دبي،

ترسم شكل حلم أعمق -
ليس الفولاذ وحده، ولا الارتفاع الزجاجي،
بل أشكال تنبض بنور الطبيعة.

ترسم بالأخضر حيث تتنهد الصحاري،
حيث تبكي المستنقعات وتجف الأنهار -
ومع كل سطر، يولد أمل من جديد:
جسر، منزل، عالم متحول.

عملها ليس جدرانًا محصورة،
بل أنظمة مصممة للشفاء، والربط -
حيث تتآمر الشمس والرياح والأرض - لإشعال النور، ولولادة إمبراطورية -
ليس للغزو، بل للرعاية،
حيث تتوهج مستقبلات مكتفية ذاتيًا.

تتحدث في التيارات والجذور والمطر،
في مدن هادئة تنهض من جديد.
حيث كانت رمادًا، تقف الآن
قرى بيئية منحوتة يدويًا.

هياكلها تنبض بالحياة التي تخدمها،
كل حافة تتماشى مع منحنى الكوكب.
لا هدر، لا عوز - فقط نعمة منسوجة
ترفع شعبًا، وتشفى مكانًا.

لا ينحني الجسر الأخضر في الحجر،
بل بقوة ما نما -
رابط بين الماضي والمستقبل،
رؤية مرسومة للجميع.

فلنُشيد بخطتها المُشرقة،
مهندسة معمارية، ووصية،
وصوت يقول: "يجب أن نصمم
عالمًا يزدهر بتصميم عظيم".

In cities layered with time and dust,
Where memory rises through fractured trust,
She draws not walls, but windows wide—
To let the future step inside.

A daughter of Beirut’s beating soul,
She maps the cracks and makes them whole.
Not with silence, not with steel,
But forms that breathe, and spaces feel.

From Brooklyn’s stacks to Batroun’s shore,
She builds what words can’t hold, and more—
A classroom’s bloom, a library’s call,
A dome reborn with knowledge tall.

Through every plan, her purpose threads:
To give the living wiser beds—
Where equity and hope may rest,
And people dwell as their full best.

She led where few had gone before,
Dean, mother, thinker, mentor, core.
Each syllabus, each softened frame,
Redrew who has the right to claim.

Not bricks alone, but truth she lays—
In gardens deep and climate haze.

ابنة روح بيروت النابضة،
ترسم الشقوق وتُكملها.
لا بالصمت، ولا بالفولاذ،
بل بأشكالٍ تتنفس، ومساحاتٍ تُشعر.

من أكوام بروكلين إلى شاطئ البترون،
تبني ما لا تُقدر الكلمات على استيعابه، وأكثر -
زهرة صف دراسي، نداء مكتبة،
قبةٌ تولد من جديد بالمعرفة الشامخة.

في كل خطة، ينسج هدفها:
أن تُعطي الأحياء فراشًا أكثر حكمة -
حيث يستقر العدل والأمل،
ويعيش الناس على أكمل وجه.

قادت حيث لم يسبقها إلا القليل،
عميدة، أم، مُفكرة، مُرشدة، جوهر.
كل منهج دراسي، كل إطارٍ مُخفف،
أعادت رسم من له الحق في المطالبة.

لا تُلقي الطوب فحسب، بل تُلقي الحقيقة أيضًا -
في حدائق عميقة وضباب مناخي.

العمارة، في رعايتها،
تُصبح عدالةً جريئةً ونادرة.

فأُشيد باليد التي تجرأت على رسم
مكانٍ أنعم، أقوى، وأكثر عدلًا.

في أعمال أمالي، قد نجد جميعًا
نموذجًا لعقلٍ لامع.

“Blueprints of Return”
For Razan Altiriafi

In lines and layers, she draws her name,
A daughter of Sudan, carved in frame.
Not in marble, not in stone,
But in pixels, codes, and paths unknown.

From Georgia halls to Durham’s light,
She shaped a future bold and bright—
Not with silence, not with fear,
But with vision, sharp and clear.

She once walked markets warm with song,
Where colors danced and hearts belonged.
A cousin’s vows, a fleeting breeze,
Now shattered skies, scorched memories.

Yet she builds where others flee,
With every beam, a quiet plea.
To see in structure, hope and grace,
To give the lost a grounded place.

For architecture speaks aloud—
Of people rising, fierce and proud.
And in her hands, design becomes
A bridge for those the war has numbed.

While wires fail and towers fall,
She lifts the voices drowned by walls.
Each project, page, and rendered start
Is drawn with justice at its heart.

So let her work be not just seen,
But felt in cities yet to dream—
For in her craft, a truth is spun:

بل في بكسلات، ورموز، ومسارات مجهولة.

من قاعات جورجيا إلى نور دورهام،

رسمت مستقبلاً جريئاً ومشرقاً -
لا بصمت، ولا بخوف،

بل برؤية حادة وواضحة.

سارت يوماً في الأسواق دافئةً مُغنيةً،
حيث رقصت الألوان وتعلقت القلوب.

عهود ابن عم، ونسيم عابر،

الآن سماوات محطمة، وذكريات محروقة.

ومع ذلك، تبني حيث يفر الآخرون،

مع كل شعاع، نداء هادئ.

لترى في البناء، أملاً ونعمة،

لتمنح التائهين مكاناً راسخاً.

لأن العمارة تتحدث بصوت عالٍ -
عن أناسٍ صاعدين، شرسين وفخورين.

وبيديها، يصبح التصميم
جسراً لمن خدرتهم الحرب. بينما تنهار الأسلاك وتنهار الأبراج، تُرفع الأصوات الغارقة في الجدران. كل مشروع، وصفحة، وبداية مُقدمة، رُسمت بصدقٍ في جوهرها.

فليُكتفِ برؤية أعمالها، بل ليُلمس أثرها في مدنٍ لم تُحلم بها بعد -
ففي حرفتها، تُنسج حقيقة:
أن المباني ترتفع، وبعضها يرتفع.
