Hi everyone,

As we continue to evolve as a company, our mission—to make digital travel in VR accessible to everyone—is becoming an even more central part of what we do.

To support this, we’ve decided to raise our subscription prices to better align with our pricing on the Meta Quest platform. Starting today, a larger part of our content will also become exclusive to members, again to ensure consistency across platforms.

These changes are aimed at helping us keep adding new destinations and experiences that everyone can enjoy. YouTube ad revenue alone is not enough to support this vision, and we believe in setting a fair baseline across all channels where our content is available.

We’ll continue sharing new content on YouTube every other week, with each video available to the public for two weeks.

Our first JadeVR customer story! In this new series, we share stories from clients who work with our VR experiences and use our JadeVR platform(by VR Gorilla) in healthcare and elderly care. This week, the story of Visiting VR run by Dr. Stephen Jones from Santa Barbara.

With over 15 years of experience as a community caregiver, Stephen saw a recurring need to meet: a way to bring more meaningful engagement, connection, and wonder into the daily lives of older adults. That dream became a reality when he started Visiting VR, powered by JadeVR.

“I am not a businessman. I am a community caregiver.” Says Stephen. “ I see the need, the isolation, the long days, and the loneliness they bring. I come to this not from the tech side, but from the bedside, where I have wished I could switch the scene, make a ceiling a starscape, make the walls into waterfalls, visit places that actually feel more like pieces of ourselves than the body we are trapped in.

“With JadeVR, you helped me answer that dream with a tool that, like the telescope or radio before, brings the world within reach in ways once thought impossible. VisitingVR is the bridge.”

Through Visiting VR, Stephen now visits elderly care homes and hosts group sessions of around 20 participants. Each session takes residents on a unique virtual journey, from serene nature escapes to nostalgic destinations like Paris or Venice, followed by open discussions about what they experienced and the thoughts and memories it sparked.

At JadeVR, we’re proud to be the content engine for projects like Visiting VR. Watching residents light up with joy, start conversations, and connect through shared experiences shows just how powerful and valuable this technology is and how important it will become in elderly care. Virtual experiences become shared stories, sparking conversations that wouldn’t have happened otherwise.
