Sorry for the lack of live streams over the last few days!

I've been lost in the land of setting up VR with MSFS2024. While it could have made for some top-notch menu stream viewing, I really wanted to power through and find good settings for the Quest 3—both with the Link cable and Virtual Desktop. (Also finding a ton out about MSFS settings )

After 12 hours of fiddling, I think we’ve discovered some interesting things... that maybe only five people will care about.

Hopefully, we can put all of this into a good old-fashioned settings video soon. (What a time to be alive.)

Stream ideas brewing:
I'm thinking we might need to do an Assetto Corsa 1 Racing with Subs stream soon—maybe featuring some classic good cars like the Mégane Trophy V6, Porsche RSR, and a few solid AC tracks.
Would be nice to get some full grids going!

Got a car/track suggestion? slap it in below! (We’ll probably ignore it and do the same tracks as always, but you never know.)

Distressingly, people seem to be enjoying our recent videos, which is frankly unacceptable. Constantly nice comments, and a worrying lack of abuse. Might need to upload some more critical content just to restore the balance.

Some questions 🤔
Tomorrow we will be trying out streaming at higher resolutions so you guys can enjoy chewing on the FPS as much as I am !

The Ram upgrade and new settings we have today seem to have worked really well ☕.

- Who would like us to host AC servers tomorrow afternoon ?

- Should we grind to a gold rating in LMU ?

- Where did it all go wrong ?

Tomorrow we install the reasonably proportioned and incredibly good value for money new GPU into the live stream mega PC !

Despite this hopefully allowing for higher visual quality of the live streams and even more glorious frame rates it will unfortunately have no effect on the levels of despair, misery and tea drinking you are accustomed to when watching.

9/10 doctors recommend that you avoid the stream tomorrow however if you are unlucky enough to join us remember to console other viewers and help them through the ensuing bad time.

Thanks to all our supporters for having sufficiently lacking mental faculties to endure our live streams, without your suffering we would not be able to enjoy such affordable pc hardware.

Some of you no doubt enjoyed the calm reprieve from the lack of DD Girl singing , I regret to inform you all however that the London special chest infection (fortunately mild compared to mastrict edition) is slowly being destroyed by compulsive tea drinking meaning we will be back in the SimRig very soon.

Are you now going to tell us incredibly boring information of no value to our lives ?

Sound upgrade

So the GOXLR (what we plug the mod mic into and control stream sound with ) as some of you know had a dodgy USB port on it causing some issues and GoXLR has also been discontinued , so I have moved over to a Roland bridge caster solution.

Sadly this won't make anything I say into my microphone any more insightful or our jokes anny more amusing but it should resolve some sound issues. Most notably as we use a dule PC streaming setup this sound controller uses dule USB eliminating the need for analog audio cable and thus removes Ground loop noise 👍 and some other more complex aspects of getting nice sound with two PCs.

It's setup and seems like it should work well , of course I'm expecting it to spontaneously brake as soon as we go live as this is mandatory for all electronic equipment.

SimRig -

I have been testing the Moza AB9 FFB shifter and that is working though it's still in beta it will be good to test it during a live stream of AC ! ( AC strim when?). We also have new drivers for The FFB brake to test out !

Whalst dead I was hoping to upgrade the GPU but prices are still insane and UK GPU stock is lower than public lobby T1 move brain cell activity , so that's on the back burner for now 🙃.

Software -

Not sure of you guy's interest in WRC dlc it looks a bit dull to me , however I really want to do some RBR any recommendations or ideas for that would be great ☕.

EVO I believe will get a content drop soon hopefully not too soon but it will be fun to cover that !

MSFS 2024 - Really want to do more glider flights , and do some more career mode the game is still a bit of a mess but I enjoy playing it 😂🙃. Maybe the 3 other glider fans that watch this channel could suggest a fun challenge for us to stream ?

Hoover !

The studio is a total cable mess and disaster so before we do anything else I believe a Hoover stream is in order , I was thinking we also need some real plants behind us and more fish 🐟 🤔
