Most of our content dates back to the 1980s and is put up on youtube to preserve it for historical purposes, otherwise it would be lost forever.

Just to let everyone know. This channel was demonitized by Youtube a month or two ago.
It never brought in much money. Very little in fact.
But it was nice to have a few bucks coming in from what is basically a passion project.
But the fact that youtube would demonitize such a small operation which is 95% found footage which no one would ever see if it was not uploaded is pretty shit.
So my incentive to upload any more videos dropped close to zero.
I thought about patreon and other things, but I'm not going to beg you guys for money when what will basically happen is I will be lucky to have a few paying customers, footy history videos are not exactly popular or big bucks items.
So I might pop up on another channel when I need to put up more Carlton game highlights videos which I use to feed the Blueseum.
However, there is still a lot of footage which sadly will not be uploaded. I hope you can forgive me, but I'm going to dedicate those hours to something else.
Please enjoy the more than 2000 videos on this channel, I'm very proud to have been able to recover so much lost footage, it is a never ending thing, there is still so much out there.

Just noticed we have gone over the 2000 videos mark.
Wow. Seems freaky to me, but just mentioned it to my daughter and barely got a shrug!!
Still got lots of tapes to go through, honestly at least another few years.
I'll just keep plugging away.
My primary aim for this channel was to conserve stuff that is not available to the public.
Appreciate every view and every subscriber. This is never going to be a huge channel simply because the content is so specialised, but I do appreciate everyone who enjoys the content that is put up.

I've been thinking about doing some live-streaming of when I edit my videos.
What you will basically see is the window I am working on the vision, sound and my comments along the way. I usually do this stuff in the evening so thought may as well see if anyone wants to see how the sausage is made?
What do you think?
I'll give it a go, not expecting too many to watch, but it might be fun. Maybe next week?
