We are decompressing a bit after our mad dash across the US (see the new RV booondocking on the Wall in the Badlands) to get to our first ever Sail Away Alaska cruise on @royalcaribbean with @lessjunkmorejourney and about 180 of our old and new friends!!! We miss you all already!

Our Sail Away Alaska Crew were treated to the best weather Juneau, Skagway, Sitka and Victoria, BC has had all year according to the locals!

We can’t wait for the next Sail Away! Matt and Ashleigh from @driventoventuretravel are already working their magic to find the perfect one!

What’s your why?

Many of you know our story, but incase you are new to FOS, our journey to this place started in 2007 when my (Jess’) dad was diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease. He was 46 years old.

Dad was 53 when he died and never got to do all the things that he had put off until “Someday”.

These are the moments in life that change your perspective, your goals, your family and your future.

It 100% changed ours.

My dad’s life is a huge part of our why. Living life today and not pushing it off until someday is as well. And experiencing freedom and making memories with our girls is at the top of our reasons why.
