Shame, Shameful and Shamelessness

A Lament for a Fallen Voice: Reflecting on the Assassination of Charlie Kirk

In the shadow of yet another senseless act of violence, the news of Charlie Kirk’s assassination at a Utah university event on this very day—September 12, 2025—strikes like a thunderclap across our fractured nation. Charlie, the fiery young architect of Turning Point USA, a man whose unyielding passion for truth, liberty, and the Gospel mobilized a generation, was cut down in cold blood by a 22-year-old assailant now in custody.

His death is not merely the loss of a political firebrand or a cultural provocateur; it is the extinguishing of a light that pierced the darkness of moral relativism and spiritual apathy. As reports emerge of the suspect’s identification and the chilling details of the attack, we are left to grapple with the fragility of life and the venomous undercurrents of hatred that still poison our public square.

Charlie’s voice was a clarion call, echoing the timeless truths of Scripture amid the clamor of contemporary chaos. He spoke boldly against the erosion of faith, family, and freedom, reminding us that righteousness is not optional but essential. His life was a testament to the power of conviction—conviction born not from human eloquence alone, but from the divine breath that animates all true proclamation. And yet, in the hours since his passing, a shameful spectacle unfolds online and in shadowed corners: voices gloating, memes mocking, and hearts reveling in the blood of a brother.

To those who celebrate this sad death, I say with a heavy heart and a firm rebuke: Repent of this darkness. The Proverbs warn us, believers, plainly, “Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad when he stumbles, lest the Lord see it and be displeased” (Proverbs 24:17-18), immagine how this warning can also apy to those who don’t know the Lord, who are celebrating this wicked act just as they celebrated the crucifixion of Christ!

Charlie was no flawless saint—none of us are—but he was a son of God, fearfully and wonderfully made, whose zeal sought to awaken souls to eternal realities. To dance on his grave is to mock the image of the Creator in every human life, to embrace a barbarism that devours the celebrants as surely as it felled the fallen.
Let us turn our eyes instead to the eternal.

The message Charlie carried—the unyielding call to righteousness, the exposure of sin’s deceit, the promise of judgment tempered by grace—was not his invention. It flowed from the very Spirit who inspired the prophets and apostles. As Jesus Himself declared in John 16:8-11, “And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.” The Holy Spirit, that Comforter and Convictor, breathed life into Charlie’s words, using his platform to stir consciences and summon wanderers home.

Charlie’s death does not silence that Spirit; it amplifies it. The same wind that filled his sails now blows unchecked through the church, through every believer willing to take up the mantle. It convicts us of our complicity in division, our tolerance of hatred, our failure to love even those who oppose us.

In this moment of grief, may we not descend into vengeance or vitriol, but rise to prayer—for Charlie’s family, shattered by this atrocity; for the perpetrator, whose soul hangs in the balance of divine mercy; and for a nation teetering on the brink.

Let the Holy Spirit do His work: convicting the proud of their sin, illuminating the path of righteousness, and unveiling the ultimate judgment that awaits us all. Charlie’s legacy endures not in stone monuments or viral clips, but in the lives he touched and the Spirit who outlives us all. Rest in the arms of your Savior, brother. And to the world: Heed the Convictor’s whisper before it becomes a roar.

Patreon Partners

Dear Friend and Partner in Christ,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We count it a true blessing that you have chosen to walk with us by being part of our Free Patreon family. You are part of a growing number, approximately 257 Free Members, which is exciting and a blessing.

You are not merely just “followers” of our ministry—to us, you are our team and our family, co-laborers in the gospel and encouragers in the work God has entrusted to us.

Over the years, our membership support has been the main source that sustains our media ministry. Through it, we have been able to create and share resources, reach countless hearts, and boldly proclaim God’s truth where it is most needed. However, we must share with you honestly: our membership income has been declining, and this has put real strain on our ability to continue producing the content and outreach that many have come to rely on.

The Apostle Paul reminds us that “The one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor” (Galatians 6:6). In the same spirit, we prayerfully ask you to consider becoming a paying partner with us—standing not only as receivers of this ministry, but as active sustainers of it, and those who can share our work as well.

We are prayerfully seeking:
• at least 100 new paying members at the $1 or $5 level,
• And others who can commit to $10 or $25 levels.

Whether for one, two, or three years, your partnership will not only strengthen the foundation of our ministry but also allow us to plan boldly for the future. Even the smallest step—just $1 per month—when multiplied across faithful friends like you, becomes a mighty resource in the Lord’s hands.

Beloved, we cannot do this work alone. We need you. Your decision to move from a free member to a partner is not just financial support—it is a declaration that you believe in the mission, you stand with us in the truth, and you are helping to keep this light shining in a darkened world.

Please prayerfully consider what the Lord might place on your heart today. Together, as one family in Christ, we can continue to run the race set before us with endurance, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Will you consider either a short term or a long term commitment? We are blessed by you and trust that the Lord will guide your decision.

Building on the Rock: A Reflection on Matthew 7:24-27

In the concluding words of His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus delivers a powerful parable that serves as a timeless warning and invitation: the story of the wise and foolish builders. As recorded in Matthew 7:24-27, Jesus says:

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

This parable is not merely an architectural lesson but a profound metaphor for the human life and soul. Jesus, speaking to a crowd that included disciples, religious leaders, and everyday people, uses everyday imagery to illustrate the eternal stakes of responding to His teachings. The “house” represents our lives—our values, decisions, relationships, and ultimately our spiritual destiny. The “rock” symbolizes Christ Himself and obedience to His words, while the “sand” depicts the shifting, unreliable foundations of the world: self-reliance, fleeting pleasures, or superficial religion without true commitment.

The wise builder hears Jesus’ words and acts on them. This isn’t passive listening; it’s active obedience. Throughout the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus has outlined the Kingdom ethic—blessed are the poor in spirit, love your enemies, seek first God’s kingdom, judge not lest you be judged. Building on the rock means integrating these truths into daily life, creating a foundation that withstands trials. Storms will come: hardships, temptations, persecutions, even death. Yet, as the parable assures, the house stands firm because its base is unshakeable. This echoes Old Testament imagery, like Psalm 18:2 where God is called “my rock, my fortress,” reinforcing that security comes only from anchoring in divine truth.

But Jesus places heavy emphasis on the alternative path—the foolish builder who hears but does not obey. This person may admire Jesus’ teachings, attend gatherings, or even quote Scripture, but their life remains unchanged. Their foundation is sand: unstable, eroded by time and pressure. When the inevitable storms arrive—symbolizing life’s crises or the final judgment—the consequences are devastating. The house doesn’t just wobble; it collapses “with a great crash.” This vivid phrase underscores utter ruin. In the context of Jesus’ ministry, it warns of spiritual destruction, separation from God, and eternal loss. Not following Jesus isn’t a neutral choice; it’s building on a foundation doomed to fail. As James 1:22-25 later echoes, being hearers only and not doers leads to self-deception and forgotten blessings.

The consequences of ignoring Jesus’ call are stark and irreversible in this parable. The foolish man’s house falls completely, implying total loss—no partial salvage, no second chances in the storm’s aftermath. This reflects the broader biblical theme that rejecting God’s wisdom leads to judgment (e.g., Proverbs 14:12: “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death”). In our modern world, we see echoes of this: lives built on materialism, fame, or relativism crumbling under pressure—broken families, addictions, despair. Ultimately, Jesus points to the eschatological reality: at the end of time, those who built without Him will face the “great crash” of divine accountability (Matthew 25:31-46).

Yet, this reflection isn’t meant to instill fear alone but to urge transformation. Jesus invites us to examine our foundations today. Are we merely hearing His words through church, Bible reading, or cultural exposure, or are we putting them into practice—forgiving others, pursuing righteousness, trusting in His provision? The good news is that it’s never too late to rebuild on the Rock. Christ, the cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20), offers stability amid chaos. As we reflect on Matthew 7:24-27, let us heed the warning: the consequences of not following Jesus are catastrophic, but the reward of obedience is an enduring life, safe through every storm. May we choose wisdom, anchor deeply in Him, and stand firm.

BREAKING NOW!

A despicable and disgusting attack just took place in Boulder Colorado.

Make no mistake about it, this disturbing attack was a classic Idealogical attack! This attack has nothing whatsoever to do with a so-called “lone wolf” alleged action! This was a deliberate and malicious well thought out attack fueled by hatred of Jews that is supported by the attacker’s own religious ideology!

ANOTHER HEALTH UPDATE

Last Thursday I underwent a scheduled invasive heart procedure that, while complicated, was successful by God’s Grace.

Due to the severe pain I had to endure after the procedure, and believe me I can handle pain very well, it was necessary to keep me at the hospital over night for observation.

Today I am back home and on my way to recovery and a new chapter in my life to continue to fight the good fight for the salvation of the souls of our precious Muslim friends and introduce to them our Lord, Jesus Christ, The Prince of Peace, our Savior.

Thank you to all of you for your prayers, support, messages of hope and encouragement.

Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
