I make videos on... Uhh... I'm not sure. Does anyone read this? Are you reading this?
So basically I make long form videos about games. I try to incorporate a lot of different things into my videos, the history of the game, gameplay analysis, themes, visuals etc. It's like a review but kinda not. It's like an analysis but kinda not. There's probably no one size fits all word for it. Anyways, I hope you might like a video or two that I've made.
I genuinely don't know what to put here. Thanks for reading this far.

TLDR: Putting the finishing touches on the video, It"ll be up in two weeks or so. Details below.
Hello, it's been a while. So long story short, my PC is old. I built it in January 2017, and it's served me pretty well these past 7 years. Editing videos requires a bit of power, and I was kind of hitting the limit of what my system was capable of. For example, if I put an effect in the video like speed up or blur, I couldn't actually watch and check the effect in the editor. I'd have the clap my hands together and hope it turned out the way I'd expect. That and my SSD is slowly dying (They only have a lifespan of 5-10 years) and I wanted to get ahead of that issue before it died mid project. I'm good at using stuff till I literally can't anymore, and I was pushing up against that limit here.
So, I figured I'd build a new PC, then start on the X-2 video. Great timing, considering the Nvidia 4000 series cards are way overpriced and we're fresh coming out of a global chip shortage/crypto boom, but y'know, can't wait forever. I had everything pretty much planned out and ready to go, but then there were leaks that the 14th gen of Intel CPUs would use the current LGA1700 socket, and I figured, what's a few more months.
Which means I kinda got a slow start on the Final Fantasy X-2 video. Plus, it's a big video! Thanks for being patient, I'm hoping to get it done within the next 2-3 weeks.🙏
I'm also planning to move away from Premiere Pro after the X-2 video. I'm kinda tired of paying Papa Adobe's exorbitant monthly fee, so I'm looking around for some alternatives. Davinci Resolve or Vegas Pro look like the best options, but I'll talk with some people, try them for myself, and come to a decision later. The video after the X-2 one might take a bit longer as well since I've got to get used to the new software, so thanks for being patient. It's all to make the video better, I swear!
And speaking of better videos, with this new machine (and the extremely large extra hard drive I'm sticking in it exclusively to store video clips etc.) I'll be able to record and make videos in better quality with a higher bitrate. I can even get a PCIe Capture Card so I can tackle Switch games etc. All this to say, you can kind of consider the videos that come after FFX-2 as a sort of "Season 3" of my videos. (Season 1 was everything before the FXIII video, Season 2 was everything from FFXIII - FFX2) There's a video I wanted to make that might end up being around 3 hours, and it's like, ACTUALLY possible now. I just have to psyche myself up to do it. Maybe in late 2024.
